Perhaps add explanation for Blanche Hillyard's runner-up status in 1890[edit]

The article explains that Blanche Hillyard did not participate in Wimbledon 1890, but the result of that year's championship match lists her as the runner-up. This seems contradictory, unless one know that at the time Wimbledon gave the previous year's champion a bye into the final round. Hillyard's results from Wimbledon's archives bear this out. Ireland at the time was part of the United Kingdom. Is it revisionist history to show the 'Irish' flag? We see Monica Seles with the 'Yugoslavia' flag in 1992?Ryoung122 03:30, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
