Sources + lots of editing needed for disambiguation[edit]

See Talk:Libyan_National_Army#The_National_Libyan_Army_are_not_the_Libyan_Armed_Forces. Obviously sources are needed, and my guess is:

  • Libyan armed forces or armed forces of Libya - overview article, includes LNA from 2011 to 2014 in detail
  • Libyan Army or Libyan Army (2014–present) - Sarraj/West
  • Libyan National Army or Libyan National Army (2014–present) - Haftar/East

as three separate articles would probably make sense, even though anti-WP:SPLIT-Wikipedians might object to having the three separate articles. The WP-notable militias and their relations to the "armies" would be useful information too - such as Libya Dawn (presently a redirect), Shura Council of Benghazi Revolutionaries, Category:Jihadist groups in Libya. Otherwise people trying to follow what's happening have to believe whatever labels a particular newspaper article choose to use. (I'm not volunteering for this tidying...) The two articles together look a lot less confusing now - thanks! Obviously some work is still needed, but anyone with internet access who wishes to do so can help... Boud (talk) 19:52, 25 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
