Estonian origin[edit]

Information about estonian origin of Lilian Alling is not reliable and should be removed. The only source is article from news site www.delfi.ee. We wrote e-mails to the site editor about the known facts of Lilian origin, but no one responds. KciroohS (talk) 17:21, 5 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A claim of having been born in Poland doesn't make anyone Polish. Alling is a common Estonian name, while there's no record of any Pole w/ such name. Try googling `alling eesti` and `alling polska` 37.157.106.218 (talk) 02:20, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Cassandra Pybus[edit]

Cassandra Pybus has a book titled The Woman Who Walked to Russia: A Writer's Search for a Lost Legend. Is it the same as Raven Road? --Error (talk) 00:13, 31 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Walking Speed[edit]

"back-calculating from the 30 mi/d (48 km/d) walking pace she averaged from Vancouver to Smithers"

and:

"she had averaged 30–40 mi (48–64 km) per day on foot"

These are implausibly fast speeds for walking over sustained periods especially for someone with a backpack with all their belongings. If they are accurate speeds then she could only have achieved them by hitching or jumping trains for some of her journey. Maurice Sturt (talk) 07:22, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
