Guys, the efforts are not escaping the PROD and later AFD[edit]

Hi, please try try meet that criterion. I will make this unmarked unless improvements are made. This still doesn't escape AFD. Quek157 (talk) 17:34, 24 May 2018 (UTC) I personally think #6 still doesn't meet but will leave for 2O. --Quek157 (talk) 17:35, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Quek157 I'm afraid I don't understand what you've said in the slightest. As far as prod goes, it can be removed for any reason by anyone. If you feel this should be deleted, take it to AfD. CHRISSYMAD ❯❯❯¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 17:38, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently its the same thing as Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Zhou Jieqiong, kept with NBAND #6 as a member of two different prominent bands. Snowflake91 (talk) 17:41, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
yes, I understand, I just hope that article is improved to watertight standards to meet the entire MUSICBIO standards (at least one), I watched Produce 101 / IOI / and want this to be preserved, but this is turned from redirect to an articles 3 times and turn back. Please make this a decent one can? Thanks. This is what I meant. --Quek157 (talk) 17:42, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Snowflake91 and Chrissymad:Good, accepted, remarked as ref improve (as the TV shows need improvement and I don't think the 2nd one is considered XtvN usually need soompi /allkop sources which then is WP:SNOW to defend. So can we remove or source properly??? --Quek157 (talk) 17:43, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Quek157: Soompi and Allkpop are both considered unreliable per discussion at WP:KO/RS Alexanderlee (talk) 17:50, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I know, I am now exactly talking about sourcing as well as notablity. I am just doing a NPP. I had been lectured many times about WP:KO/RS and I know to use OSEN, Naver etc. but one question, then UNIT/UNB members all can have their own pages? As also fromis_9 that Produce 48 member if Jung Gyuri really ended up into the final group? This will be a little weird that some of the more prominent idols cannot but these can - the one in my mind is dahyun from twice. --Quek157 (talk) 17:54, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Quek157: ah my apologies I wasn’t meaning to come across as lecturing you I just saw you said “need soompi/Allkpop sources”. I must have misunderstood. Honestly I’m not sure with requirements anymore, #6 of WP:MUSICBIO would give warrant to so many articles, but I’ve also seen articles that would qualify due to #6 be deleted or redirected simply because they haven’t released any charged music. And in all honesty it sometimes seems that other editors don’t care if other points qualify an article, they simply delete/redirect because of that one qualifying point. I tend to stick more to source-related edits or those such as overlinking.

For example, BTS members repeatedly have their articles redirected despite passing #6 as there are four members who have articles. It’s all confusing to me really Alexanderlee (talk) 18:02, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Alexanderlee:, no problems, I am saying in jest as there is a particular user (whom I shall not name or ping) who always tend to say my sources isn't right, I use soompi, says WP:KO/RS, fine, then I used NAVER, then they wanted me to use the OSEN one which is the source of NAVER. Hence, I always use the list (but allkop is not reliable true, fake news somemore, soompi nowadays is even better than some sources for news - like the Late Night E News (SBS Tues 8:55) omitted Kim Seang Min scandal but was well covered by all, then is SBS reliable?). I also don't have any idea such AFD works. I just don't care about these AFD. This will end up as a redirect if nothing is done, I will not want to see this so I marked as refimprove and prima facie #6 met, but I am fine for any NPP to unmark and sent to AFD. --Quek157 (talk) 18:07, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Quek157: I see no problem wth using sources from Naver so long as it isn’t the blog section, if their information is from elsewhere they always state it and I’ve never seen Naver be unreliable. I don’t understand it either, I’m with you on that one :’) Alexanderlee (talk) 18:18, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
thanks, I think you will know who I am referring to here. Anyway, happy improvingg --Quek157 (talk) 18:19, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Confused[edit]

What is AFD and Prod...actually??? Road boyz24 (talk) 18:36, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

PROD = proposed deletion (anyone can challenge), should be non controversial , anyone can remove. If that is so, the person who slapped PROD can go to AFD where a formal discussion (at least 7 days) will be to see WP:N / WP:NOT is met. If so, keep, if not, delete, if there are WP:ATD, do it. see WP:AFD for more details --Quek157 (talk) 18:38, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
