I believe it is. When I found it I was pretty disappointed that there wasn't anything different in it. I think someone originally just copied and pasted the text from his website here. Kinda stinks not getting anything different... --Caseylee4ts 05:39, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tone[edit]

I realize that this page is not watched by many people, and that the people who do visit it are predominately Christian, but don't a lot of the sentences from his bio sound a little "churchy?"

Example: "He recalls feeling God drawing him close after attending a drama ministry performance with Laura. 'I was afraid to lay down a lot of things in my life,' Lincoln said. 'One night, I laid all my cards on the table. I asked the Lord to come into my life, all by myself. It was the best night of sleep I'd ever had. I was very peaceful. I think that was what enabled me to blow off that record deal.'"

...I mean, I'm a Christian myself, but isn't this an encyclopedia? AlexHOUSE (talk) 01:20, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Several parts of the biography are written in a story-telling tone. I've marked the section for inappropriate tone and requested a citation for the particular quotation above. -- Black Falcon ^(talk) 21:16, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
