NPOV

This article is in brash violation of [WP:NPOV]. I don't feel the warnings on this article are strong enough, but I'll leave them as is. This woman is clearly what would be regarded as a quack in academic circles, yet the article paints her as a legitimate "journalist" reporting legitimately on ancient visitations of space people, if I may be so blunt. Even if there are no citable references criticising her, this article must be emended to reflect the intensely tenuous nature of her subject matter. Stuart Ravn (talk) 04:00, 4 July 2012 (UTC)

Citable references are the whole point of wikipedia, live by the sword and die by it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.218.61.11 (talkcontribs) 00:27, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
Having been a member of the Society of Professional Journalists in the U.S. myself, I can say that she definite qualifies to use and be described by the term journalist. She currently covers a lot of science topics, not just certain fringe ones. A lot of journalist articles on Wikipedia do not provide refs for Awards. See Tom Brokaw (one ref), Dan Rather. The article right now has too many "Linda this, Linda that" lead-ins which is too personal and not encyclopedic. 5Q5 (talk) 17:32, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
I added a "Criticism" section and a sourced description of Howe as a "credulous journalist" by noted skeptic Joe Nickell. You ought to see the article on Art Bell if Howe's article seems too fringe science promoting. 5Q5 (talk) 17:52, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Remember, don't give undue weight to fringe science. WP:NPOV is important, but so is WP:UNDUE . Just because this isn't the worst example, still strive to meet Wikipedia's standards. ThePlatypusofDoom (talk) 21:23, 9 April 2016 (UTC)

Not the same as Linda Howe

Wikipedia redirects the search term "Linda Howe" to this page, but Linda Moulton Howe is a completely different person from Linda Howe.

Linda Howe has three award-winning books on the Akashic Records: How to Read the Akashic Records (Sounds True) Healing Through the Akashic Records (Sounds True) Discover Your Soul's Path Through the Akashic Records (Hay House)

Her website is www.LindaHowe.com

There should be a separate entry for Linda Howe. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JeanLachowicz (talkcontribs) 20:00, 30 October 2017 (UTC)
