Rewrite needed[edit]

The first sentence of the Academics section is reflective of the tone issues I see in the article: "The motto of Lindale High School, 'A Tradition of Excellence,' is reflective of the superior academic quality it maintains." There's a high degree of peacock terms and other fluff throughout the article with very few hard facts to back it up. Accordingly, I have it tagged for a complete rewrite; I'm just shy of tagging it with a neutrality tag, as it feels like the article is being edited heavily by a student or alumnus. I've cleaned up the intro, but there's more issues throughout the article than I can address single-handedly. —C.Fred (talk) 18:28, 2 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Response from contributor: I definitely understand what you're saying. I will work to make the article more neutral, as I understand neutrality is vital to Wikipedia. (talk) 19:37, 2 May 2010
