Conflict of interest?[edit]

The article has been tagged for COI because I chose my Wikipedia name in a way that makes it recognizeable (in the sense of and with a similar intention as in the Scholarpedia). I am indeed an authoritative expert in the topic, as I am in other fields of science. However, the OWLG/LLOD community does need such a page as an entry point, and it has been requested for at various occasions, and in preparation for the LDL-2016 workshop, it was set up to give people an orientation if they inquire initial basic information about the topic. The text itself does not overemphasize my contribution (in fact it does not mention any individual contributor), and I would ask the tag to be removed by anyone in the community. I won't do that. As another expert in the field I can confirm that the article is fair and balanced in my opinion Johnmccrae (talk) 13:12, 27 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Already done It appears that this COI tag has already been removed Chiarchos (talk · contribs). st170etalk 11:14, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Re-integrate links[edit]

The original version contained links to the OWLG, W3C Communities and EU projects. On 04:29, 25 May 2016‎, user Melcous removed most of this. This is unfortunate, because it prohibits people from further informing themselves about important community activities. Please restore. Chiarcos (talk) 22:45, 26 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: I do see why Melcous (talk · contribs) removed the links and I am not therefore going to restore that version of the page. Wikipedia must be neutral through and through and these links may be seen as breaching neutrality on an encyclopaedia. Chiarcos (talk · contribs) st170etalk 11:18, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
