Untitled[edit]

With all due respect, I realize that the IMDB lists London, England as the birthplace of Lisa Raines Foster, and 1964 as her year of birth. The IMDB entry for her birthdate is right but the birth place is wrong. She came to New York at seventeen, studied with Rochelle Oliver and Buck Heller and many amazing teachers at HB Studio and lived on West 80th street for about a year or two before going back to Toronto to model, act and live. I knew her very well and visited and stayed with her and her parents in Edmonton. Lisa was born in Alberta. She is a Canadian not British. My family and some of my friends remember her very well. Meantime let us remember that IMDB is faulty. It is run by vendors who own Amazon.com and is certainly not flawless. There are many excellent artists from Canada. Lisa was a very talented young woman so in the end it doesn't matter where she was born does it, except I am miffed about people pretending she was born in London.
