Isn't this all wrong?[edit]

The source for the box office is supposed to be Box Office Mojo and not IndieWire, right? ChewNaChunkx (talk) 23:02, 3 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Recent Weekly 2020 Top Box Office Numbers[edit]

According to Box Office Mojo, the source you typically use for this chart, the #1 movie at the box office for the week of May 3rd, May 10th and May 17th, 2020, is IFC Midnight's "The Wretched".

Yeah. Now it's We Summon the Darkness. So all of the recent edits are not correct. ChewNaChunkx (talk) 01:49, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is this not potentially a situation where treating Box Office Mojo as the only viable source would be inaccurate, though? They aren't asserting that the movies they have numbers for are the only ones, and since not everything is being publicly reported, it's very possible that other movies could have grossed more. At the very least, if a reliable source says otherwise, this seems like a situation where it should be noted that there's a dispute. (I'd suggest going with what the other source says as the table entry because it is claiming to speak to the box office in general, while including a note that not all numbers were publicly reported and that Box Office Mojo only has numbers for a different movie.) That turned out to be the case, so yes. :-) ChewNaChunkx (talk) 05:06, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
