Notes:

  • All columns sortable
  • Kept US flag to be consistent with corresponding Europe page
  • Sorting name sorts into Christian name order, use browser refresh to get original order
  • Would prefer more elegant column headings but can't manage it with sortable table

Content as per http://images.pgalinks.com/vmc/pressReleases/MG_2011Ryder.pdf except:

  • Azinger appears in two places in MG_2011Ryder.pdf and his record is wrong
  • Chad Campbell/Stuart Cink are given incorrect foursome records for a match they won playing together in 2008
  • Ben Crenshaw 1995 appearance missed out
  • Ben Curtis - only 1 Ryder Cup not 3
  • Duval appears in two places in MG_2011Ryder.pdf and his record is wrong
  • Matt Kuchar foursome record is 1-0-0 not 0-1-0

Playing record reference[edit]

Have added reference to Playing record section but note:

reference is missing Rickie Fowler, Jeff Overton, Lew Worsham, Fuzzy Zoeller

reference has: Paul Azinger 2-2-0 in foursomes - Wikipedia has 2-3-0, Julius Boros playing 5 Ryder Cups (including 1950?) when 4 is correct, Stewart Cink is missing 2010 data, Ben Crenshaw missing 1995 but playing record is correct, David Duval 0-2-1 in fourballs - Wikipedia has 1-2-1, Dustin Johnson 3-3-0 overall not 4-3-0 (typo), Phil Mickelson 4-5-1 in singles not 4-5-0 (typo)

reference has some name errors: Ky Laffon, Don Sanders

Believe Wikipedia is correct in all instances. Nigej (talk) 07:08, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New playing record reference[edit]

I have changed the reference to this section which seems to be something of an improvement on the other but note:

ref has Azinger 1-4-2 in Fb (1-5-1 in Wikipedia) so doesn't add up, Calcavecchia 1-1-2 in S (1-2-1), 4-0-1 in Fs (4-1-0) so doesn't add up, Laffoon 0-1-0 is S (0-1-0 in Fs), Snedeker 1-0-0 in Fs (1-1-0) so doesn't add up, Toms 1-4-0 in Fb (1-3-0) so doesn't add up, Wood 1-1-0 in S (1-2-0), 0-2-0 in Fs (0-1-0)

Some are clearly typos but note: Laffoon did play in the foursomes, not the singles in 1935. Wood played a singles in 1931 (lost), foursomes (lost) and singles (won) in 1933 and singles in 1935 (lost) so 3 singles and 1 foursomes as per Wikipedia

Note ref has Hermon Barron not Herman Barron

Ref includes appearances in 1939 and 1941 which we don't

Still believe we are correct in all instances
