Incorrect information about "We Don't Talk About Bruno"[edit]

"We Don't Talk About Bruno" is not the first song from an animated film to top the Hot 100 for multiple weeks, as "Happy" by Pharrell Williams (which was written for the soundtrack to Despicable Me 2, and was even nominated for Best Original Song) spent ten weeks at the top of the charts in 2014. Quite sure it was meant to be a song that's sung on the actual film rather than played on the closing credits anyway otherwise Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling!" would come into this too as it was from Trolls.

Well, there's a couple of faults with that argument. For once, "Happy" is actually in the film itself outside of the credits, as it's played [during a montage in the middle]. "Can't Stop the Feeling!" is also played during the film itself outside of the credits, though it's a different version from Timberlake's; regardless, that argument is moot as "Can't Stop the Feeling!" only spent a week at the top of the charts, and the article specifies "We Don't Talk About Bruno" was the first to spend multiple weeks at the top.

This is textbook original research. This is a Billboard chart and Billboard says "We Don't Talk About Bruno" is the first song from an animated film to top the chart. And by that, I'm pretty sure they do not consider "Can't Stop the Feeling" and "Happy" as songs "from" the film, but "used" in the film. ℛonherry☘ 17:14, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I was going to point that out too after seeing the revert, but it looks like I got beat to the punch. Glad this could be resolved. As a response to Ronherry's first comment, I'll also point to this Billboard article, in which they do acknowledge "Can't Stop the Feeling!", "Happy" and fellow chart-topper "Sunflower" as songs from animated films rather than songs used in animated films. 2800:2161:5400:3CA:6CBA:3D9D:20C9:CF51 (talk) 20:05, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Something more I will say is that "Bruno" is probably the first multi-topping song from an animated musical film, as while Encanto is counted as a musical,
