Regular season titles from the 2 old div-1 leagues aren't recognized by Canada Soccer, should they be included?[edit]

Neither of the old div-1 leagues (CPSL and CSL) have regular season winners formally recognized by Canada Soccer. The Whitecaps also don't recognize their CSL regular season wins (https://www.whitecapsfc.com/news/updated-wfc-trophy-case)

I think it should be kept on the list of the winners per year, but not included in the "total amount of titles" table. Thiaguitocpl (talk) 17:44, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

To be honest, I'm not a fan of summing up honours of different types like this at all. I feel like it falsely implies an equivalence of value between leagues, shields, and cups but more importantly, it probably violates WP:OR. I'll leave it for now but I might revisit this later.
