Just wondering if the Churchill years cunts as a spin off given that all episodes so far have aprences by the Doctor and even use era appropriate theme tunes depending on wich Doctor appears like the rest of the Doctor who audio plays released by big finish 2.26.206.85 (talk) 14:52, 9 March 2016 (UTC)

All the items in this list were previously in the "Non-Doctor Dramas" section in the previous article - that was were the split occurred - and anything there was moved. The World of Big Finish

Should this page have a section for the 2015 release "The World of Big Finish"? This box-set contains characters from other Who-related ranges, such as Bernice Summerfield, Iris Wildthyme, Graceless and Vienna. The previous "The World of..." release is included on the main Doctor Who Big Finish under the "Specials" section. Order of the list.

Vienna is not in the DWU

Vienna should be removed from this list, as the series' producer and creator, David Richardson, said that he "did not see it as a Doctor Who spin-off. It's its own thing. It's not set in the Doctor Who world at all." when asked about Vienna's canonicity on the episode of the Big Finish Podcast entitled "Doctor Who, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year! It doesn't have to share the same continuity, it just has to be spun-off from a parent programme. See Empty Nest and Doom Patrol (TV series). DonQuixote (talk) 18:39, 19 August 2020 (UTC)

The series was announced before her BFDW debut. The version of the character in BFDW is completely separate from the version of the character in Vienna. If Vienna's stories are in the DWU, so is every Sherlock Holmes story and every Dorian Gray story.Belegityt (talk) 19:06, 19 August 2020 (UTC)

The link you provided says "doctor-who-spin-off". Look, the point is that wikipedia is written from a real world perspective, and the fact is that Big Finish produced a Doctor Who play with the character and then they spun her off into her own series. It's irrelevant that in terms of in-universe the two series are unrelated as this is common and has happened with other spin-offs (see above two examples). It not being a Doctor Who release means it's not licensed by the BBC, that's all. The TARDIS Fandom Wiki has apparently had a massive argument over this, where they believed it's not related to the DWU (but they are almost entirely an in-universe Wiki), but as DonQuixote, it's cited as a Doctor Who spin off. Did I miss it?

At the Madame Vastra, Jenny Flint, and Strax the list of audios has this link ''[[List of Doctor Who spin off audio plays by Big Finish#The Eighth of March (2019–)|The Eighth of March]]'' for the release of this box set. Clicking on it brought me to the top of this article but I couldn't find any mention of the set in this list. Was there one that got deleted? Or did I just miss it. As its four adventures have a wide range of the Dr's Companions I wonder if it shouldn't be mentioned somewhere. If it is already here than a) my apologies for missing it and b) the links to it need to be reformatted from any articles that link here. Thanks for your time. Question

Hi Alex 21. According to the extras on the CDs The Paternoster Gang it isn't going to have any new episodes so I was thinking abot adding the year 2020 in the parenthetical. Then I checked the article for the series there is a listing for The Trespassers but there isn't any info about what that is about or its connection to TPG.
