Gethin[edit]

There's some casting/development info here - [1] - JuneGloom Talk 21:41, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Done, thanks so much. Not sure I missed anything, or even wrote it that well. There didn't seem to be loads. –anemoneprojectors– 15:33, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That's okay and the section looks good. I found this in the free library, not sure if there's anything you want to add from it - [2]. - JuneGloom Talk 00:41, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like just a compliment on his looks. I never really like to add that stuff. –anemoneprojectors– 14:19, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Gerry[edit]

Who the heck was Gerry from last night's episode? I don't remember seeing anyone other than regular cast. Yet he was in the credits. –anemoneprojectors– 14:14, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Could he be the homeless man Andrew spoke to? - JuneGloom Talk 01:28, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I guess when I see Wednesday's episode it'll become clear, but I don't remember a homeless person from Tuesday. Perhaps he appeared but didn't speak, so they credited him for the appearance as he was speaking in the next episode...??? –anemoneprojectors– 13:33, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The guy who Andrew spoke to, who was lying on a public toilet floor, drank his drink and took his money? Is that him? Cus he was in the episode before and possibly saw Phil and Ben leave the flat as he was standing up the corner behind them.Rain the 1 13:40, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That's probably him, still don't recall him from Tuesday and haven't seen Wednesday's yet (becayse they moved it and it was pub quiz night!) –anemoneprojectors– 14:01, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Just wondering - do the dates reflect the episode he was in the street at the same time as Ben and Phil - it was not mentioned in the plot bit.Rain the 1 19:23, 15 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, 20 March was when he was seen in the street, when I didn't realise who he was as he hadn't really said anything. 21 March was when he met Andrew. Feel free to add the plot. –anemoneprojectors– 10:34, 16 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sources for Nico to get out of "Others".[edit]

Here's a link for a photo; [3], so if anyone has the original magazine, there could be some good stuff on here. — M.Mario (T/C) 15:23, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and this source reports that he is filming 8 eps, though is "likely to return". [4]M.Mario (T/C) 15:25, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I can't read the text to the right of the picture but the text to the left is just random questions about the actor and nothing about the character or anything even remotely related to EastEnders. Which is a shame! The only thing I can see there that may be worth including is "It's always a pleasure to see a new hunk in Walford". It's from a Reveal magazine - and I know nobody who reads it. If it's out this week I might see if it's worth buying just for that. Actually, going through the actor's Twitter account says he was filming on 6 June so it looks like he's in it a while. Would be good to get him out of Others. Sasha too. –anemoneprojectors– 13:45, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This week's Inside Soap has a little reception about him in it. - JuneGloom Talk 19:17, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I saw that yesterday and am going to add it now. –anemoneprojectors– 09:25, 13 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Helen Roberts (Martine Brown's character)[edit]

Just added a Helen Roberts as an "other" coming up soon, played by Martine Brown. Last year, Brown appeared as a child services person speaking to Lola and Billy, called Hayley. She said her last name but wasn't credited with it - Roberts. Can we assume this is the same character? How should we deal with it if we move her to 2011? –anemoneprojectors– 12:47, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It is the same character yes, however she cant have jjst changed her name?!!?!? — M.Mario (T/C) 15:17, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
They made a mistake. I don't know how we should deal with it. Merge the 2012 entry with the previous one, and make a note about her name change? Then all those uncredited characters would need their own entry in this list. –anemoneprojectors– 09:41, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I would actualy keep them seperate, but put a note at the bottom of her section. — M.Mario (T/C) 15:47, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If it's the same character, she should be under 2011. Maybe we should call her "Hayley or Helen Roberts" and put a note that in 2011 she was credited as Hayley and in 2012 she was credited as Helen Roberts. –anemoneprojectors– 13:21, 3 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Jr."?[edit]

Have we got any reliable sources whatsoever that Denny is "Dennis Rickman Jr."? It isn't very usual in Britain for folk to be Jr., plus his father is not alive (he is the only Dennis Rickman – he is even simply "Dennis Rickman" in the second 13 August episode's end credits!). I think we should remove "Jr." from all instances unless we have adequate citations within 7 days. (When we must disambiguate, we can use "Denny" or "Dennis Rickman (son)".) DBD 14:53, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

He's not credited as Jr but there are sources. I don't like your ways of disambiguating. Shouldn't we go by year of introduction? –anemoneprojectors– 15:00, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Prior to his introduction he was always referred to as "Jr." mainly to distinguish between the two. A disambiguation page would have to be set up with the original Dennis and then Dennis Jr. and a note saying 'son of the above' or something. Alex250P (talk) 13:18, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
We shouldn't set up a dab page, as we don't need to move Dennis Rickman. I put a hatnote there already. All the magazines are still calling the son Dennis Jr. –anemoneprojectors– 13:21, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I found a source where the BBC call him "Dennis Jnr". [5]anemoneprojectors– 20:56, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank god! This will clear up a lot of confusion! — M.Mario (T/C) 21:16, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It's now been changed to Jnr, and the Wikipedia article does say that "Jnr" is the British standard. However, as he's credited as "Dennis Rickman", we should probably just call him Dennis Rickman, no? –anemoneprojectors– 13:12, 11 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dennis's family[edit]

As the rule you shouldn't people's family unless they share a scene (apart from intermediate family), however with most of Dennis's family will be unlikely to share a scene with him i.e Den and Vicki be added because the family section looks a little bare. --Anna2123456789 (talk) 19:36, 26 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It shouldn't matter if a family section looks 'bare', after all, what family do we have for Poppy? Sharon and Dennis should definately be listed as his parents, but other than that I don't think anyone else should be. Vicki is only his aunt. Den perhaps is a little more debatable Bleaney (talk) 20:36, 26 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I only brought in up because I had been looking at Lauren Branning's page and noticed she hadn't shared a scene with Reenie or April seeing as their last appearances were in 1996! So could we just add Den to the list? --Anna2123456789 (talk) 13:18, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I've never supported this rule, Den's addition shows that he is the grandchild of one of the most iconic characters on the soap. Also, Wiki is meant to be an encyclopedia of information - and the addition of the characters on the infobox provides maximum information. Alex250P (talk) 14:36, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
We could add Den to Dennis because Den is one of the most iconic characters, but we shouldn't add Dennis to Den's infobox. And as for April and Reenie being listed for Lauren, that doesn't mean we should go around listing others, it's just one that got missed. People add information all the time that goes unnoticed. –anemoneprojectors– 13:40, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed! — M.Mario (T/C) 21:14, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Denny" Rickman[edit]

Reverting these changes because the character is credited as "Dennis Rickman", not "Denny Rickman". If you want to remove the "Jr" part, then just remove it. But lots of reliable sources call him "Dennis Rickman Jr", even since the character joined. –anemoneprojectors– 13:18, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Which one was Caroline in last night's episode?[edit]

There were four women "others" last night. Samina said her name so we know who she is, and Jenny is mentioned in the episode synopsis. Caroline was also credited, but there were two other women with speaking parts - the woman who let Masood into the lockup and the woman who told Michael to buy bigger nappies. Should we just assume that Caroline is the latter, as she had a bigger part? –anemoneprojectors– 11:17, 26 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm assuming the woman who spoke to Michael. –anemoneprojectors– 10:23, 6 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Number of episodes[edit]

I was wondering if I could add, for the "others", a small column for the number of episodes appeared in. Most will be obvious (1 or 2) but for some it wouldn't be so obvious, such as Ali (2 eps over a couple of weeks), DS Crisp (12 eps) or Annabel (5 eps).

Here's an example:

Character Date(s) # of eps Actor Circumstances
Aaron 3–5 January 2 Robert Curtis Two brothers who meet Christian Clarke and his sister Jane Beale on a night out. Aaron remembers Christian from New Year's Eve, and when the four sit down to talk, Christian and Jane are bored as Aaron and Warren only talk about their business in doors and windows. Christian considers leaving but when his ex-boyfriend Syed Masood enters, Christian flirts with Aaron, and they end up spending the night together.
Warren 3 January 1 Sean Browne
Hannah 12–19 July 4 Leila Crerar A couple whose child, Jake, is in the same hospital as Janine Butcher and Michael Moon's baby Scarlett Moon, who is on a respirator. Jake appears to be improving, but then becomes ill and is taken off the ward.
Rob 4 Thomas Snowdon
Betty 2 August 1 Kirstie Brough A homeless girl. When Max Branning, Tanya Jessop and Alfie Moon go looking for Ian Beale at a homeless shelter where Lauren Branning saw him, Betty tells them she recognises Ian from a photo. Max pays her £30 to take them to a place he may be. Another person there says they have seen him, so Max pays Betty a further £20 to take them. When they get there, Betty tries to run away but Max stops her and accuses her of lying. However, Tanya then finds Ian.

Any thoughts? Maybe we should consider adding it to the infoboxes in general, though tricky to keep up to date for present characters. –anemoneprojectors– 10:20, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm... this looks good, I have done this on one of my sandboxes, but I put the number of episodes at the end of the table, I do prefer it! — M.Mario (T/C) 21:14, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Or what about this?

Character Date(s) Actor Circumstances
Aaron 3–5 January

Wouldn't need ep count for 1 episode, as it's obvious. The only problem might come when a character comes back in 2013, twice in 2014 and again in 2016. Maybe for characters who appear like this, we should just put the first and last dates, instead of all the dates, but put all the dates into the storylines (we normally put the month anyway). –anemoneprojectors– 21:36, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to discuss something at WT:EE. –anemoneprojectors– 21:51, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Trish's "10 episodes"[edit]

So she's now been in 11 episodes and will be in at least one more. Do we leave this "10 episodes" reference in or take it out? –anemoneprojectors– 08:59, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I would just remove the 10 episode part and put, Churchard credits firt confirmed she was to play Trish... ? — M.Mario (T/C) 10:36, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Expecting a new Masood character in December[edit]

"The Masoods are rightfully incredibly popular and we've got big plans for them. As well as the recent arrival of Masood's brother AJ, we also have a new female character joining the household in December. Let's just say that she's bound to cause a bit of mischief!"anemoneprojectors– 12:45, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This was Ayesha Rana and the info has been added. –anemoneprojectors– 10:24, 6 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone know the last appearance date of Trish? Im sure it was when she visited Lola at home after she got Lexi back, though i'm a couple of episodes behind so could have appeared since. Anyone know? Bleaney (talk) 23:31, 4 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Haven't seen her for ages so probably when she visited Lola! :-) George Sorby 14:46, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It was 30 May 2013. I've added a reference for it. –anemoneprojectors– 13:21, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sasha Dixon[edit]

Hi guys. Does anyone know the date of the last episode that Sasha Dixon appeared in? I want to add a last date to her entry as a hidden comment. She seems to have disappeared without trace, and Ray & Kim don't even mention her. I think it's likely she will appear again, and i'm not advocating classing her as a past characater at this stage - She should be kept as recurring (per the 1 year rule). But it would be nice to have a record of her last appearance, in case she never is seen again. Bleaney (talk) 02:56, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

14 August 2012. But they do mention her. I agree the one-year rule ought to apply to her, and I would like to see her back. She lives with her mother and goes to school outside Walford, so she might be back during the Christmas holidays or something. –anemoneprojectors– 15:01, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Kirsty Branning[edit]

The fact that Max and Kirsty were moving up to Manchester is important, because it is the fact she was alone in a city she did not know which writers are trying to stress. Derek said that he and Max were living in Leyton. Please don't reverse these changes.--AngieWattsFan (talk) 18:15, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ayesha[edit]

I have changed Ayesha's status from "regular" to "guest". She didn't appear in December, was gone within two months and the actress has confirmed her current return will be brief - that doesn't constitute a regular. Smurfmeister (talk) 19:32, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've changed her to recurring. I agree that she was not a regular, but she has appeared for longer than a guest stint. Bleaney (talk) 20:03, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with recurring, since she had two short stints. Before she returned, I had her as guest, but it was changed to regular when we found out she'd come back. –anemoneprojectors– 11:28, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Alice's date of birth[edit]

Why is their no date of birth listed for Alice's profile? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.197.255.27 (talk) 16:37, 18 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Because we don't know it. –anemoneprojectors– 22:31, 18 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No main article for Alice and Joey?[edit]

I was wondering why there's still no main article for Alice and Joey when they've been in the show for over a year? I would create one for them, but I don't know if there's some reason for why they haven't got one already. Tinamckintyre23 (Come and talk!) 08:42, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

GSorby is working on Alice's article in his user space but as far as I'm aware, nobody has tackled Joey's yet. There's so much information out there, perhaps people think it's too overwhelming. I started a draft but never worked on it. It'll take a lot of work and won't be ready for a long time, even if I spent all my spare time working on it. But my draft for AJ is probably good enough now. –anemoneprojectors– 09:30, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've just read your AJ draft. It does look good enough to publish. Tinamckintyre23 (Come and talk!) 10:33, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted it to be a bit longer so I can go for DYK as a 5x expansion, but I don't know what fact to use. –anemoneprojectors– 18:24, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I hate coming up with DYK hooks, unless one jumps out at me early on, like with this article. - JuneGloom Talk 21:37, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I probably won't bother, unless I can ever find a source that mentions the similarity in looks between Sharma and Ganatra... –anemoneprojectors– 22:08, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Kirsty Branning split[edit]

Kirsty Branning has been a regular character and has been present in many storylines. Surely Kirsty is now notable enough for an article. 149.254.250.50 (talk) 12:40, 23 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Potentially yes but not as the list entry stands right now, as there's barely any real-world information here. I don't think anyone is working on expanding on and splitting off Kirsty in their userspace (the usual way), so for now she stays in the list. –anemoneprojectors– 13:22, 23 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dennis Jr sources[edit]

Lexi Pearce leaving?[edit]

OK, so all the sources I've been reading this morning indicate that Lola is leaving. None of them are mentioning that Lexi is leaving. However, someone has changed her classification to read departing. Is there any sources to support this? It's just that I'm thinking that she's also related to the Mitchells and given what they did to keep Lexi when she was born, I cannot see that they would allow Lola to take Lexi away. In other words, isn't it possible she could still stay?--5 albert square (talk) 12:13, 14 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted that Lexi is leaving for this reason. We don't know how Lola will leave - there could be a custody battle, or if Lola dies then Lexi would probably stay with the Mitchells. Regardless, it's still unsourced. –anemoneprojectors– 14:52, 14 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The sources I have been looking at are indicating that the door will be left open for Lola to return. However, that could change and you are right AP there could also be a custody battle. I can't see Billy being too pleased that his granddaughter may be taken away.--5 albert square (talk) 20:14, 14 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Well she won't die then but still, Phil might want to make sure Ben has Lexi. –anemoneprojectors– 18:32,

15 June 2015 (UTC)

Les Coker[edit]

Surely if Paul Coker gets his own article, Les should. He is in far more episodes and his principal storyline has to have drawn at least as much media attention and controversy as Paul's. He is not quite the first trans character in soapland, but surely the first regular cross-dressing character to appear in EastEnders and therefore notable. The real-world character development stuff is already present in his section. I think there's enough there already. I don't know anything about starting article pages, though. Anemone, you probably know the most about these things and have a long prominent history on these pages, what do you think? ZarhanFastfire (talk) 15:34, 26 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

There's a big list of characters I think are deserving of independent articles at WT:EE#Characters needing independent articles. I started a draft at User:AnemoneProjectors/Les Coker but it obviously needs a lot of work, as there are many more sources that need to be found, including those from the soap magazines as well as websites, and even combining the current list entry with my draft (now done), I don't think it would be anywhere near ready. When I write an article I literally trawl every possible source I can find just in case there is something to add. But as you can see, I haven't touched my draft in a long time - this is because I've been very busy in real life. Anyone is free to collaborate though. anemoneprojectors 17:29, 26 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dennis...has he been adopted?[edit]

We know Phil was in the process of adopting Dennis, the last scene being when they got the letter for the adoption hearing. Now, I'm starting to wonder over the past few episodes if it was an off-screen event? Because Dennis was referred to as Louise's brother by Sharon and then literally everyone keeps calling Dennis Phil's son and Phil Dennis' dad recently. Grangehilllover (talk) 18:57, 9 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I assumed the adoption storyline had been forgotten because there was no reference to it. But I don't remember there being a letter. However, we can't assume there has been an adoption just because it looks like there might have been, so we'll just have to wait and see. — ᴀnemoneᴘroᴊecтors 22:13, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
