I'd actually suggest taking this split further, along the lines of Angoulême International Comics Festival.

The Eisner is a big deal amongst comic awards and even a nomination is quite something - I'd suggest having a page for each award (the major, long-running ones anyway). So Eisner Award for Best Writer would list the winner and then the nominations under that (and it'd sit as the main article for Category:Eisner Award winners for Best Writer). It can all be sourced to the Comic Book Awards Almanac and the Eisner site and/or press coverage.

It'd take a while to roll out but can be done in bits and should result in useful articles. (Emperor (talk) 03:02, 15 March 2010 (UTC))[reply]

I'm not sure if you're active, or anyone's reading, this being three years later, but this list is snowballing into a massive list. Scrolling down the page and reading even the list takes minutes. Nominations would almost triple the page length. In all, nominations would simply be too much, in my opinion.

I do, however, recommend the Comic Book Awards Almanac and the Eisner site and/or press coverage as a further reading thoughExplorser (talk) 01:57, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The organization here could use a little work. Ideally we’d take a page from the Oscars lists (such as Academy Award for Best Actor) and list out winners and nominees for each category by year. Having to scroll so much to see the most recent winners is pretty bad. Xavdid (talk) 01:46, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
