Turkey ?[edit]

Should Turkey be on this list considering they are an Asian country ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.244.151.70 (talk) 20:16, 5 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A portion of Turkey is in Europe, including half of Istanbul. WhisperToMe (talk) 05:49, 18 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Scope[edit]

The scope of this article is entirely too wide. It should not include NCAA Division I players. There are 358 NCAA Division I players with 12+ players per team. Pick a random team from the past 25 years and you're about as likely as not to find at least one European. Under the current scope of this list, all of those players should be included. That's simply not tenable. --Dennis C. Abrams (talk) 17:32, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Scope Pt. 2[edit]

I agree with what Dennis C. Abrams said 2 years ago.

currently for Austria for example this page has 3 players. There are dozens of Austrians who made it to college basketball D1.

what separates them from someone like Luka Brajkovic.

I personally believe the scope should be limited to NBA, G-League, Maybe Award winners from the NCAA (Like Luka Brajkovic who was Atlantic 10 player of the year), Maybe anybody who played minutes in a March madness game. IDK what we would want but something needs to be decided.

Edit: I would also include All WNBA players and high level WCBB players but again where is the cutoff for WCBB Roscherw0329 (talk) 17:20, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
