I know..lol. Wiki was lagging and it took me forever to save this. We'll clean it the consistency in the wording later. Other Characters[edit]

I was actually wondering if we should include Ryan and Mikki from the TV show but they're covered fairly well on that article, so maybe not. Are there any characters from the comics/books that are important enough to mention? We'd have to be kind of strict with the criteria so the page doesn't get out of hand. Who did you have in mind? I think we'll be ok. The page is rather small, it just looks so larger because of the number of characters in the table of contents. We could still trim some of the character bios some. So I think we could include more characters. We could retitle the page "main characters" to limit the scope of the article, and break sections off into "Films" "comics" etc etc...by etc etc I mean...not really anything else because Films and comics is where they are mostly.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 00:05, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Victms too?[edit]

Shelly might be okay, he has some notability as the person who "gave" Jason his mask - the most iconic aspect of the series. I'd say no to Steve Christy... remind me who the other ones are again? Jimbo's the awkward guy (a "dead fuck" as Ted called him) from The Final Chapter who gets killed with the corkscrew and cleaver, while Melissa and Tamara are the "bitch characters" of The New Blood and Jason Takes Manhattan respectively (the former gets an axe to the face, the latter gets stabbed with a shard of mirror). I don't really think they're all that notable (although Tamara's the one who first set off Rennie's weird hallucinations of young Jason, I think). -- Lord Crayak (talk) 17:36, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, thanks. I remember them now. Nah, they don't seem all that notable to me. It would just turn into a list of deaths, which isn't really encyclopedic. I understand where your coming from. But here my rationale for them:

Jimbo and Ted: noteworthy since they had a nice little subplot in The Final Chapter that's pretty popular with the fans (that's the feeling I get when I visit the Friday boards) epescially the "dead fuck" thing.

Meliessa: was the main antagonist (besides Jason) who was a thorn in Tina's side thoughout the movie.

Tamara: Ditto, plus she had a good subplot sudducing the teacher (also should be on the list) and exploiting the other kids.

Mr. Christy: Seems to have a relationship with the main charcter Alice (love affair or not).

All in all, I think if we have enough story material on the character besides their death then they should be worthy of the list. 69.29.254.57 (talk) 03:36, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Surnames[edit]

Do we have a source for the name "Alice Hardy"? As far as I know, she was known only as Alice in the films, but I remember seeing Hardy in one of the novels (think it was Carnival of Maniacs?) Needs to be revised[edit]

This article is pretty good, but definitely needs some editing. There are more characters from the books and comics than in the film series present here. What I think would be a good idea is to break the article up into sections for each movie, and a section for comics and possibly the TV series. This will keep things more organized and make sure a lot more notable characters are included, because some of them are definitely missing from this list. As for the books, I think the ones based on Jason X should be included in the Jason X section of the possible future article, and anything else could be either it's own or included with a movie the book is possibly relevant to. I don't know, but I think this would improve the article. Tommy Jarvis[edit]

So many fake last names[edit]

Just wanna say more than half of the surnames listed here are made up by people online and are in no way canon.
