Some cast members missing[edit]

This edit [1] removed some people from "current" without adding them to "former". I will leave it to someone else to fix because I do not watch the show so do I not know which section they actually belong in. Note that William Hartston (one of the deleted cast members) should be linked. Adpete (talk) 03:09, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Deaths and other appearances sections[edit]

I removed the death section as I believe it is trivia, but it has been restored with a request for discussion. I had the same discussion here for all of the soap opera cast member lists. I don't see how this is any different. Their deaths are unrelated to them appearing on Gogglebox. I would also say the same for the "Other appearances" section. Neither are directly concerned with the cast member appearing on Gogglebox. It is trivia. – DarkGlow • 12:04, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As for the other appearances section on this page, it feels like trivial cruft. This page is concerning cast members who have appeared on this series, not others. If they have appeared on another series, this would be noted on their standalone article, if they have one. If not, it would be noted on the article of the other series they are appearing on, not this one. Therefore, I'm placing this notice to suggest we remove these sections. As this could be considered a controversial removal, I'll leave this open for a week for any editors to give their disagreement/agreement. – DarkGlow • 12:17, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
