List of committees of the Indian governmentParliamentary Committees of India – Usually government committees are known as commissions in India and this article primarily is for the committees of the Indian Parliament. However in some instances as listed at the end of the article there are committees which have been formed by the government. So I guess the list of committees at the end of the article may be appended to List of Indian commissions. Politicoindian (talk) 23:06, 10 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support — Government committees are committees formed or notified by the executive and are headed by specialists, civil servants, or former minister, as the case may be. On the other hand, parliamentary committees are more deliberative, focused towards fact-finding and are intended to keep ministries and departments of the government accountable and good. One should note, though, that 'committees' here should not be written in capitals, but in miniscuilised form. Regards, SshibumXZ (talk · contribs). 16:09, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
