Episode summary revisions[edit]

I'd like to point out some issues with the recent changes to the summaries by User:Dairi no Kenkyo, which I reverted based on the following rationale. The most obvious of which is the unconventional writing style, making reading the summaries difficult and confusing. Some examples include, such as in episode 4, using phrases like "cryptic parting counsel", "import his assistance" and "home commute to catalyze transporting" is purposefully using uncommon language in what I believe is an attempt to make the summaries read more like what you'd find in an advertisement or fansite. There are many more examples, like using a Japanese term in English in "Kyousuke-tachi" for episode 2, and "reflection on the data of Rin's metamorphosis" and "ignites the advent of an epiphany" in episode 5.

There is also use of colloquialisms, which are very informal and should never be used in encyclopedic language, such as "Rin ultimately pipes up with the idea" in episode 4 and "Kyousuke is not the true blue friend he appears to be" in episode 5. In addition, the summaries were written in such a way that made a whole paragraph just a few extremely long run-on sentences. The entire summaries of episode 1 and 5 were turned into 3 run-ons, making them (and the other summaries) even more confusing to read. The summaries were ultimately overly complex, and while they may have been shorter than the previous summaries, the confusing nature in which the new summaries were written made reading and comprehending them difficult.-- 23:19, 27 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
