Can we please cite the sources for notes properly before just simply adding them in. Thanks Akhilklpn for contributing but you are adding your own assumptions. Please use a NPOV so can separate the fact from fiction, and only leave those with verified sourced. Thanks Bgmathew


Highest Grossing films of 2009[edit]

Hi all,
The list of highest grossing films given in the article is compiled from different sources; not only from the link provided along with the article. Since different sources displayed different set of films as highest grossers, the selection was based on majority/average opinions. Below are some links which were used for forming the list data. Please add other valid links here, which will help to make the list more fact oriented.


Such an analysis (actually, synthesis) won't do. Try to find some reference that has a year-end analysis of the highest grossing films of 2009. The third Sify link looks like the only place from where you could make a proper list of highest grossers. Absolutely agreed. Synthesizing a list from multiple sources "based on majority/average opinions" is not in line with Wikipedia's guidelines, and gives us nothing solid to check this page's list against when editors vandalize it. The Sify 2009 Hit Chart is probably our best bet for a comprehensive source. AtticusX (talk) 12:32, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please provide Box-Office collection data from relaiable sources if you are editing the "Highest grossing films in 2009" section. Else the edits cannot be considered as genuine and correct.
