Episode notability[edit]

All of the episodes of this series fail the notability guidelines for television episodes. The way for these articles to be improved is through the inclusion of real-world information from reliable sources to assert notability. That is unlikely to happen, and these only have certain bad aspects (though all may not apply) like containing overly long or one sentence plot summaries, trivia, and quotes. Per that, they need to be a small part of this list.

If there are no objections, these will be redirected soon. Otherwise, discussion will take place here. Please remember that this is not a vote. If you like the information, that's fine and dandy, but your opinion doesn't really count towards anything. It has Smallville (season x) pages, as does The Simpsons, and other tv show pages. I don't see why the pages have to be merged, they are talking about each season of the series, where as the List of ____ episodes is just a list. Well, they do have episode summaries and include everything relevant to the series/episode. Let alone 99% of all the episodes are just season 1 (2 are from season 2, and one is from season 4 if I'm not mistaken). I don't think that's a big deal (it's not like there is a episode page for all 111 episodes). Some cleanup and sourcing of them could be done. So, in other words I'm against the episode pages being merged. But here's my question, if episode pages are such a big deal, why is there a template for them? {{Infobox television episode}}, and the countless others for each individual show. _{El Greco}^(talk) 01:02, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please look over WP:EPISODE for what belongs in an episode article. Episode articles are being cut back on currently, so that is irrelevant. TTN 01:08, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
