3 point shooting[edit]

The guidelines in the article state that a player must make 82 shots to qualify as the leader. Gasol only made 56 and does not qualify. Kyle Korver should be the leader for 2016-17.68.13.77.221 (talk) 02:03, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing - is there some reason Stephen Curry is not listed here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jonathanjrouse (talkcontribs) 17:49, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Steph Curry is undoubtedly the best off-the-dribble contested three-point shooter in the league. Unfortunately for him, these percentages are not adjusted based on the quality of shot. BeFriendlyGoodSir (talk) 01:22, 10 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Tony Snell in 2020-21[edit]

Tony Snell shot 56.9% from 3-pt range in 2020-21 on 109 attempts and 62 makes in 47 games played (See NBA 3pt rankings) As such, Tony Snell should be considered the all-time leader in single season 3 point percentage (minimum 50 attempts). Kyle Korver, the current leader on this page, only shot 53.64% on 110 attempts.- BeFriendlyGoodSir (talk) 00:31, 10 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Criteria is now 82 three-point field goals made since 2013-14. However, it is important to note that Korver only made 59 3-point shots. With everything considered, Snell is included as honorable mention in the intro but kept out of the list. Snell has the all-time highest 3-point percentage (minimum 50 attempts) in a season. Korver still has the all-time highest 3-point percentage (minimum 110 attempts) so that is kept in.
