Other Defunct Teams?[edit]

Like are the Colorado Rockies (NHL) entries merged in the the New Jersey Devils? One would think they should have their own entry in the defunct teams section. Same with Atlanta Flames, Winnipeg Jets 1.0, etc. — MrDolomite • Talk 03:18, 26 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The Colorado Rockies and the other teams you mentioned are not defunct. Defunct means that franchise no longer exists. These teams moved and so franchise continued its history in the new city under a new name. Jmj713 (talk) 15:30, 26 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
