Kai/Nya surname[edit]

Hi Limorina the surname never appeared in the show, so we don't include it in the character list. It was unofficially mentioned by the actors only but not confirmed. For this reason would you mind if we remove this? Thanks Fieryninja (talk) 17:38, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Transferring Older Character Information to New Page[edit]

Hi! Way back in January there was an extensive list of Ninjago character but it was removed. I checked the talk page and it was removed because it was too unwieldy and long. I somewhat agree with this, but I do feel that the current character list of this page is too short. There are several characters who I think are relevant enough and significant enough from the old list who can be transferred over here.

Additionally, I think the way the older character list was structured was pretty good. It was very easy to navigate and find specific characters because it has more categories. The current list makes it much harder to find a character your looking for if that character is even there at all. In light of these two aforementioned issues, I propose transferring some of the groups and character over to this page. I don't mind doing it myself, it will just involve finding an older versions of the Ninjago page with all the character text, transferring over what is needed, and adding some citations.

Again, I am not proposing we take all the character from the older page, just some of them. I'm mainly drawing inspiration from the Gumball and My Little Pony character pages on how to construct a character page for a show with such a large cast. If there are not objections, I think I'll get started on it soon. It might take a while but it will hopefully both contain more relevant information and be easier to navigate. Thanks! Hi CookieCrumbles15 I totally agree with you and I have been thinking about this for some time. The reason for condensing the previous list was due to the growing size on the page. I think that now this is a separate page it could be structured in the previous way e.g. by group titles such as dragon hunters, Nindroids etc. It makes more logical sense to group them like this. Each character on the list needs a reference for notability but they are in fact listed against each voice actor at Behind the voice actors website. Hope this helps! Fieryninja Thank you, I will get started on this endeavor right away! I've already begun drafting the text in my sandbox (if I'm using that right). Full disclosure, I was a pretty active participant of the main Ninjago page in 2019/2020 but dropped off because I was busy with stuff. But I decided to finally make an account to be more effiecnt as I reenter the fray. I'm still new at this though so any advice or recommendations would be very helpful! Thanks for helping!
