Purefoods winning the 2005-06 Philippine Cup[edit]

I'm just happy that Jun Limpot finally has a championship. ;B Photon shermie 15:25, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Alaska Aces: 11 or 12 championships.[edit]

The tally below shows that Alaska has won 12 conferences since joining the PBA. However, newspapers don't seem to recognize their 2003 Invitational Conference win. Should the 2003 Championship be included in the championship tally, or should it not be counted (like the 1998 Centennial Cup)? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.60.243.115 (talk) 12:01, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, it was mentioned on TV that Alaska has 12. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.60.243.115 (talk) 12:17, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Changes in the number of championships[edit]

Alaska currently has 14 titles and 14 runner-ups, I'll soon update but I want to delete what was said that the 2003 Invitational Conference crown is not counted, I don't see no reason why it shouldnt be counted, perhaps the 1998 Centennial Cup won by Mobiline can make a case that it was only a minor crown similar to the PBA/IBA Cup in 1987-1988. Alaska officially has 13 championships, it was just recently that the PBA reclassified the 2003 Invitational Championship as a non-official title since not all of the teams have participated in the said tournament. It is already excluded in the 2013 edition of Hardcourt. -WayKurat (talk) 15:13, 14 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
