National website dates vs. Baird's[edit]

I just completed the addition of exact charter dates for each chapter, updating what had been merely the year of formation. This information is taken entirely from the national website. I noted that some of the Baird's dates are off, but these data points may have a different source and are not necessarily incorrect. There were a couple of apparent typos on the national website's list of chapters. It would be helpful if a Pike staffer reviewed this page, and updated these dates (fixing a few years where the correct date is conjectural) and then alerting the Archivist at Baird's (U of Illinois) where some of the dates they have are incorrect. Contact information is on the Archive website, found through the reference links.

I note that often, Pike has cited a date of chapter closure coming one or two years after the dates Baird's offered. Was this just a courtesy practice, to allow the closure to reflect the end of an academic year? Or were there that many errant dates? Unless a date was clearly incorrect from the Pike national website, I went with their dates, rather than Baird's dates. Jax MN (talk) 04:14, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
