No separate articles[edit]

Why are the 2010 Playmates listed together in one article? Is this just temporary? Every other Playmate has her own wikipedia article. Why the sudden inconsistency? AshidMapantz (talk) 06:58, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I see by your talk page that an article that you worked on, Regina Deutinger, was nominated for deletion. In that AFD, there is a link to the discussion about whether Playmates are notable simply for being Playmates. In the past they have been automatically notable per WP:PORNSTAR but recently a few editors were able to push through a change to that guideline. So, there are articles for the Playmates of most(?) every year now (there are still a few, I think, that need to be created) often with links to their main article included in their listing on the "of year" lists. Note that the portion of WP:PORNSTAR that used to say, since sometime in mid 2009, that playmates are all notable, was based on a prior history where no playmate article had ever stayed deleted from the project since its inception. In a recent spate of playmate AfDs, a good chunk were kept. However, some were deleted. The content of any deleted article was transferred into these list articles, and no actual content was deleted. These AfDs were highly contested, and you should not assume that creating articles on new playmates is no longer appropriate. They may, however, to subject to more scrutiny from those editors who have decided to move away from a bright-line rule.--Milowent (talk) 15:17, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Would PMoY Claire Sinclair be worthy of a separate article? 84.161.92.248 (talk) 21:03, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The above is just ridiculous. No content was deleted? So how come Regina Deutinger has just over two lines? That article has been worked on? Really?
And then Ida Ljungqvist has her own article, but her section in List of Playboy Playmates of 2008 is so long (though currently has only two lines) the article would fit there finely. 82.141.127.203 (talk) 00:34, 19 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Could you calm down and be more specific about what you're complaining about? Since I'm not sure what you're worked up about, I'm not sure if this will answer your questions but here's a shot at it...
  • Deutinger's article was never more than a couple lines. Not counting the fancruft puffery that is.
  • Ljungqvist's article is longer, yes. As with anyone who has a main article, this list serves to just summarize their work with Playboy and the main article goes into more detail.
If this doesn't answer your concerns, please be more specific about what you're talking about. Thanks, Dismas|(talk) 01:56, 19 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It was said to be "worked on", so I thought it was longer.
And the Ljungqvist article: the infobox is the same in both, but the text in the article is only half in length of the infobox. So it would fit nicely in that list of 2008 playmates. 82.141.75.152 (talk) 17:55, 4 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Did Jaime Faith Edmondson Convert To Islam?[edit]

No. This is not her in this youtube video [1] (who is that, btw?). Jaime is tweeting away here [2], no burka to be seen.--Milowenthasspoken 13:53, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Separate article for Shera Bechard?[edit]

Her story is proving to be more than just one or two news articles. I believe it's worth giving Shera Bechard her own article, rather than clogging up this page with the evolving Elliott Broidy story. Any support? PvOberstein (talk) 15:27, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
