To Do list[edit]

Table completion[edit]

  • Add acreages

  • Hectareage needed for Botley Down, Prescombe Down
  • Check position with Longleat Woods

These have now been fixed I think. - Suicidalhamster 00:36, 3 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Accuracy[edit]

I added an accuracy notice to the page. A lot of the grid references are wrong, and these errors have also propagated to the articles. They are quite easy to spot: any grid references starting with about SU2 or greater are going to be closer to Surrey than Wiltshire. Anything less than about ST7 is going to be in Somerset or Dorset. I would recommend the other facts for these places are also checked. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JBentham (talkcontribs) 09:50, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have double checked the grid references you had concerns with (eg ones starting SU2) and I can confirm that they follow the grid references in the natural england citation sheets. It is worth noting some of the SSSIs are found in both surrey and wiltshire, but the grid reference given is the one provided by natural england which normally specifies the center of the SSSI - which may in fact not be in wiltshire at all, and potentially a fair way from the border. I hope this explains any of the surprising grid references. If you do find any which do not match those provided in the natural england citation sheets(referenced in the article) then feel free to correct the article or post the name here on the talk page. OK, all fixed. JBentham - are you aware of any more inaccurate grid refs? If not, are you happy for me to remove the inaccuracy notice? SP-KP (talk) 23:13, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. If I notice any more I'll try and fix them as I come across them. JBentham (talk) 23:18, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
