Is this page necessary? The page title's kind of vague, and there's no way to list everyone who's associated with the University, and even if there were a way, I'm sure many of them would object to having their names put on the internet for everyone to see. — Bob • (talk) • 21:34, April 5, 2008 (UTC)
- Their names were all originally on the Southern Virginia University main article, so I thought that this page was a more appropriate place to list those individuals who are associated with the university who are notable. While it may seem vague, this is what several other university articles do: List of Brigham Young University people, List of Cornell University people, List of Harvard University people, etc. --Eustress (talk) 21:44, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

The image Image:Svulogo.gif is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. Page title[edit]
Should this page be moved to List of Southern Virginia University alumni? Personally, the word "people" makes it sound like it'll list every student. "Alumni" is more descriptive. --72.219.133.104 (talk) 20:04, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
