Sharon Raydor seasons

At first Captain Raydor was a recurring character...three episodes of season 5, and then five episodes in season 6, and now seven episodes of season 7. An argument can be made that she is still a recurring character but I would tend to go with a main character this year. But on the list of main characters, the column that tells us how many seasons should be 5-present as that's how long Captain Raydor his been involved with The Closer. It's what readers expect to see. Otherwise we could also remove her completely from the main characters and leave her as a recurring character since she has only been on 7 of the 11 episodes this season. So it should be 5–present or zero, and I'd go with 5–present. Fyunck(click) (talk) 08:50, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

Actually, Mary McDonnell is main cast, and a regular, this season in anticipation of becoming the lead in "Major Crimes" when it spins off "The Closer" -- that's well documented, and easy to reliably source, so there's no judgment to be made there. On the other hand, she was definitely a recurring guest star for seasons 5 and 6, also well documented and readily sourced, so again, no judgment to apply. The issue is the table, which is clearly labeled MAIN CHARACTERS. Given her status prior to S7, it's inaccurate and misleading to list her in the table as a main character prior to season 7, since she wasn't one. That's what the narrative description, which clearly explains her cast status, is for. Therefore the change to S7, which is accurate. Drmargi (talk) 13:35, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

Francis "Buzz" Watson Badge

I noticed in the Major Crimes trailers & previews, as well as in the "Armed Response" (8/6/2012) episode Buzz wearing a badge, which looks similar to the one worn by the officers in the division. I've seen him with a plastic ID badge, but only recently with a metal engraved badge. When did he get this badge and what does it mean / represent? --Bmoshier (talk) 16:14, 9 August 2012 (UTC)

Sharon Raydor needs her own article

She was a major figure in the last three seasons of Closer, and now she's the star of its successful spin-off. Why is Lieutenant Tao the only one without an article?
