Why did they remove Billy Clarey from this page?[edit]

Does anyone have any idea why they removed Billy Clareys section from the staff page? He was an intern who died on Dec 10th 2005. It was there for about two and a half years. Then it was just gone for no reason. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.49.182.135 (talk) 22:46, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Josh Gad[edit]

...is no longer listed on the official site and has not appeared since June. Of course, Kristen Schaal is also not listed, but then again she's just a irregular contributor instead of a regular correspondent like Josh Gad is claimed to be. So is it safe to move him to former or at least say that his status is uncertain? Is he billed in the credits? --76.210.63.206 (talk) 17:19, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Olivia Munn[edit]

Olivia Munnn appeared as a "...our newest Senior Asian Corespondent..." during the second segment of the June 3, 2010 show. Because of the skit that played out, in that segment, I'm not sure if she's officially part of the cast now or if this was just a guest appearance. If you know for sure of she's part of the regular cast now or not, please give us the details. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Allthenamesarealreadytaken (talkcontribs) 07:04, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

John Bloom[edit]

Article says he left the show and took "God Stuff" with him in 1998, but as can be seen on the official website, his segments ran up to 2000. Can someone reconcile this? Or am I just missing something obvious? Bacteria (talk) 17:12, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorting of timeline table[edit]

I didn't want to mess with it too much, but it seems the table was (at least previously) sorted by the order in which correspondents left the show, which seems a bit weird. (Since Wyatt Cenac has now left, and I added Al Madrigal to the table, this is no longer the case.) I'm trying to decide which would be better - move Cenac down a few rows to preserve the old sorting, or resort the entire list based on when correspondents joined the show instead. Anyone have any opinions on this? Lurlock (talk) 13:10, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

John Hodgman[edit]

Are we sure Hodgman is leaving the show? Contributor appearances are sporadic anyway, and the whole Mars thing was obviously a joke. I don't see any confirmation on Twitter. Powers T 02:27, 25 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmed that Hodgman is still a contributor. I'm putting him back in. Powers T 20:38, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The host[edit]

Can we just add the anchors on the list so it's a full casting instead? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Theexploringgamer (talkcontribs) 17:33, 8 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Eliza Cossio[edit]

Do we know that Eliza Cossio has left the Daily Show? Her LinkedIn profile and Twitter page still mention the show, and I couldn't find any news articles stating that she had left.Gamesmaster G-9 (talk) 21:09, 8 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Contributor[edit]

The difference between correspondents and contributors is unclear (for me), e.g., "contributor"Michelle Wolf is listed as "Senior Women's Issues Correspondent", and her commonscat is a sub-category of The Daily Show correspondents on commons. –2.247.247.18 (talk) 06:19, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Why isn't Lewis Black included?[edit]

Why isn't Lewis Black included (and a few others whose names I can't recall at the moment)? 2601:405:8400:C400:A993:C740:97F5:3131 (talk) 18:16, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Black is listed as a contributor, since he does not make regular appearances. - Jasonbres (talk) 18:30, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
