Comedy/drama?[edit]

The article currently reads that this is a comedy-drama series. However, the main article only lists it as a drama series, which seems appropriate given the content and the fact that HBO did at no point advertise the show as comedy. I suggest changing this to match the main article unless anyone objects. --79.237.239.16 (talk) 16:33, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Combine with main page?[edit]

It seems like this article belongs under the "Episodes" section of the main article. --Callmechelsea (talk) 13:47, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright violation[edit]

How was it determined that eight short summaries had to be reverted because of "copyvios"? -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 11:23, 2 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You just copy and paste the suspected summaries into a Google search. If they come up on other sites, like TV.com, Futon Critic or an official site then you know that they've been stolen from somewhere else and just pasted here. In this case, the summaries appeared on the showcase website and on a few HBO international affiliate websites (like HBO Asia). -- SchrutedIt08 (talk) 11:43, 2 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The content is all lifted word-for-word from HBO's summaries, published on a number of sites (I checked Futon Critic). The one you restored has had minor tweaks, but that's not enough to satisfy WP:COPYVIO. It's easy to tell when summaries pop up all at once, with cast in place and predictable phrasing/sentence structure present. --Drmargi (talk) 11:48, 2 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I did search for the opening sentences of three of those summaries, and they didn't show up anywhere but in this Wikipedia article. I restored a ninth summary, the 1st in sequence, which was not removed in Drmargi's edit I mentioned above; that one was removed in what I thought was a pointy sulk by the editor who originally added nine summaries. Normally, copyright violations are accompanied by {{Copypaste}} and/or a report by the duplication detector, or at least by some web links.
