Tintin in Fallujah[edit]

I've removed the reference to "Tintin in Fallujah" reference until this claim can be corroborated. Submitter claimed this parody appeared in the November 2004 installment of Mad Magazine. --KihOshk 01:42, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Many Adventures of Tintin[edit]

Someone please create a game page for this, so it doesn't just link back to the Tintin main page --Jon God 1:45 AM September 2006 (UTC)

I've removed the link that redirects to the Tintin main page, as it's confusing. Cheers, Jacklee 19:57, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

I propose that the article "List of books about Tintin" be merged into this article. There seems little purpose in spreading the information over two articles that are so similar in content. You may want to indicate whether you support or reject this proposal below, and discuss the matter further. If enough editors support the proposal, any editor may go ahead and carry out the merger. Cheers, Jacklee 22:37, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support: For the reasons stated above, I support the proposal. Cheers, Jacklee 22:37, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. The article is badly named, but if you look at it carefully, these are not Tintin books, they are books commenting on the series. It overlaps with Tintin books, films, and media#Other books, but not with the canon. That said, the lists need sorting. --Alvestrand (talk) 04:07, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Given the low interest here, I'm closing this as "no merge". --Alvestrand (talk) 15:39, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Publication order…[edit]

…it’s odd that the Eagle version of King Ottokar’s Sceptre is stuck in “Reprints and Republications”, when it is both a unique translation, and the first English publication of this story, and therefore isn’t either a reprint or a republication any more than any of the other books… 88.109.4.98 (talk) 23:04, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
