Untitled[edit]

Is there any valid reason for including Boyd Packer in the list of Utah artists? There is no indication that he is anything more than an amateur at best. It impresses me as silly in the extreme, and quite unrealistic given the number of genuine artists not yet included. I wonder what might be behind this inclusion. Unless a case can validly be made (support for inclusion in his article is nonexistent) Boyd Packer's name will be removed from the list of Utah artists. BF Larsen[edit]

Why is BF Larsen not included in this list? He was head of the art department for many years and the main gallery of the Fine Arts Center is named after him. He was instrumental in getting the art gallery in Springville started. Just because he didn't go after fame and glory, he should not be ignored! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.195.225.178 (talk) 18:13, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I meant to say head of the art department at BYU in Provo, Utah. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.195.225.178 (talk) 18:15, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Mahonri Young[edit]

Even though Mahonri Young primarily lived in New York & Connecticut, he was very influential to the arts in Utah, including some very prominent sculptors placed there. Does he qualify as a Utah artist? Asterisk*Splat 19:48, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Film makers?[edit]

Are we including film maker as artists, for the purpose of this list? If so then we should add T. C. Christensen, and probably some others as well. Asterisk*Splat 20:04, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
