SIGS/WON launch date[edit]

The decision to suggest using open-beta dates (if known) for WON launch dates was based on the circumstance that sometimes betas are open for general use for months before they are “officially” announced as live. I can’t say this was the right decision--just my reasoning behind it. I can’t say I mind if someone thinks otherwise and changes the rule. Any which way, I suggest citing all known closed-beta, open-beta, and launch dates so that the reader can more easily find what they may be looking for. If unsure which date to enter for a particular game, go with your gut as to what you feel would be most relevant to the history and use of WON. juanitogan (talk) 20:16, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

WON-enabled or not?[edit]

Now that I think about it, Quake II almost certainly has no WON tech about it (except maybe WONswap). Thus, it should probably be moved out of the table and into the paragraph with chess.net for Windows... as another retail title that was linked to from WON.net but had no WON tech. Also, not sure about Unreal (1998 video game) and Unreal Tournament. juanitogan (talk) 23:40, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
