The content is the same and repetitious as all CPIM candidates are listed here.Lihaas (talk) 20:03, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose, CPI(M) and Left Front are not identical, the Left Front coalitions are active in 2 states (West Bengal and Tripura). Out of the 4 main LF parties in West Bengal, two contests against CPI(M) in Kerala (LDF is not same as LF). CPI and CPI(M) contests against each other in Andhra Pradesh and other areas. Etc, etc. --Soman (talk) 03:01, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Then why is the same content on both pages. If it seperate them put CPIM here not there.Lihaas (talk) 19:53, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
All CPI(M) candidates in WB & Tripura are Left Front candidates, but not all LF candidates are CPI(M) candidates and the CPI(M) candidates in other states are not LF candidates. There is going to be overlap but there is also a need to keep the basic concepts clear. Having a joint article for all left parties would create a mess since the different parties are allied in some states and contest against each other in other states. Strictly speaking, though, the WB and Tripura Left Fronts are separate entities, and this article could be moved to just deal with WB Left Front. --Soman (talk) 20:35, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
