The cite error on the article page is being caused by a bad ref tag on two entries: see diff1 and diff2. The changes in diff2 are supported by the entry of Walter Ray's name in the Book of Honor and the CIA Museum which has an item identified as:
Piece of Metal from A-12
During a routine training flight on Jan. 5, 1967, a fuel gauge failed to function properly, and the A-12 ran out of fuel only minutes before landing. The pilot, Walter Ray, ejected but was killed when he was unable to separate from the ejection seat before impact. The aircraft was completely destroyed. Its wreckage was found on Jan. 6, and Ray’s body was recovered a day later. This is a piece from that plane. 8 cm x 15 cm x 12.5 cm (H x L x W)

T-33 Found in Santa Monica Bay[edit]
On 9/28/2009, AP is reporting that a T-33A was found in Santa Monica Bay. The article states that research shows the plane took off on Oct 15, 1955 from Los Angeles International Airport. The List of accidents and incidents involving military aircraft (1950–1974) does not mention this. I couldn't find anything about it in the LA Times, either. The NTSB synopsys (http://www.ntsb.gov/NTSB/month.asp) only go back to 1962. Any ideas on this? Cxbrx (talk) 05:36, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

15 October 1958[edit]
Just saw this, where the words "Troop Carrier" and "[obliterated]S. Air [For]ce" are visible on the wrecked plane, along with what looks to me to be the USAAF insignia on the fuselage, and the photo is annotated in what looks to be a contemporary style with the above date, but I don't see the incident listed here.
