SHE has 500+ awards

YESS she has +500 awards because, all awards from dc collective.. and she is not most awarded artist.. she is most awarded female artist "ALIVE".. (whitney is dead) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.176.192.178 (talk) 12:58, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

Beyoncé is the most awarded musician ALIVE. She has won more than 585 Awards and I have a list to prove, it's just I cant edit her page Beyhiveboys (talk) 03:17, 8 February 2018 (UTC)

Yes, thank you!!! As if now she has to be exact 686 awards!!! People are dumb and hateful! Sarah768d (talk) 01:07, 26 May 2020 (UTC)

Not Awards

  1. Beyoncé is the first non-model ever to be featured on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2007.
  2. Beyonce is the Askmen.com woman of the year for 2007.

neither of these are awards and therefore they are not of note.76.223.83.114 (talk) 01:52, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

2011 Grammys

If Lady Gaga wins album of the year, does that mean that Beyonce wins as well. Because i don't think she should be mentioned as a nominee for Gaga's album for only appearing on 1 song. And on the 2011 Grammy wikipedia page, it states that Beyonce received two nominations. Should we not take down that nomination down then? 121.220.106.69 (talk) 03:48, 30 December 2010 (UTC)

Album of the Year lists everyone that is involved with the album including the Artists. Only the Artist and the Producer(s) take the trophy.

Destiny Child Awards should not be includes on this page. Destiny Child and Beyonce are two different acts. The Magazine Polls and OVMA Awards (which are made up) should not also be included. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.164.114.91 (talk) 17:09, 20 March 2011 (UTC)

The IVOR awards goes to the songwriting and the South Africa VMA for Best R&B went to Alicia Keys. The Billboard year end charts are separate from the billboard awards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kendallamc2 (talkcontribs) 05:24, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

I will investigate the matter: Listen was written by Henry Krieger, Scott Cutler, Anne Preven and Beyoncé Knowles, she was nominated for an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song. DESTINY?S CHILD AND AS A FEATURED ARTIST

1)Grillz was co-written by Destiny's Child (Rowland, Knowles and Williams), and not by Beyoncé alone. If you insert Grillz's awards and nomination in her page, you must insert in the same page of Rowland and Williams! 2)Rowland also received with the group 154 awards as founding member and singer of DC (she was the co-leader as second solo voice and lead singer of choir)..If you insert this information in Beyoncé page, you must insert in the same page of Rowland! 3)grammy and other awards for her collaboration in Telephone is correct, but grammy's nomination for "the fame Monster" was received by Gaga only! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.96.106.6 (talk) 13:48, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

Total Awards

If you count in this page: She wasn't nominated 390 time but 418; She has not won 251 awards but 159; she is the second (and not the first) most nominated (for grammy) female artist with 43 nominations (and not 46) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.75.223.76 (talk) 07:27, 20 May 2012 (UTC)

In "International Award" on AMA 2007, a video says 150 awards, this to 2007, since 2007 to present, she won more them this.

How Many Awards She Has

In 2007, It stated that she had won 150 international awards. International means "in other countrys" so she most probably has won more since that year aswell.

I want to fight for this woman as I believe she has won many more than it says on the page presently.

She "HAS" won 247 Awards & been nominated "372" times. Even look it up:

SOLO ARTIST AWARDS!!!!!!!!!!

This is the list of awards and nomination as a solo artist. It needs immediately to eliminate the awards won by Destiny's Child, by their songs, by their albums and by their performances (only for Grammy Awards and ASCAP because also being in group, grammy and Ascap are nominal, for example: B. Knoles, K. Rowland, M. Williams. All the other prizes are not ab personam and immediately must be removed!). it needs to modify then the number of the defeated prizes, becauseit is clearly inflated by awardses of the group. The voices of the awards of Kelly and Michelle are an example. P.S. She has never win an only World musica awards in 2013 or 2014! it's ridicoulus!

awards and nominations beyonce/kelly rowland/michelle williams/destiny's child

A question: why in the page of the awards received by beyonce there are also destiny's child awards and nominations? Don't seem me correct! Or they also put it in the awards and nominations's page of kelly and michelle (michelle beginning from the 2001) or delete destiny's child awards also from the page of beyoncé awards! Only Grammy and ASCAP Awards are ab personam" even if defeated to group. All the other prizes are titled to Destiny's Child and not to Rowland, Williams and Knowles.

It is to clarify well and to balance the situation, the feeling is that beyoncė's fan wiki-writers wanted to inflate the number of awards and nomination of beyoncé.

In more in the section Grammy history of Beyonce comes one brought a nomination as featured artist for the album of Lady Gaga of The Fame Monster: motivation is that beginning from the 50th Grammy ceremony all nominations in all album categories must be attributed to every featured artist also? Is it true? Seem me very strange...

But if it were so then Kelly she has received a nomination as feat. artist for the album David Guetta's One Love 52th Grammy cermony and this year for the album Side Effects of Fantasia. We make things clear and we adjust in honest way the situation.

sorry my English.. I am learning the language... but the concept of injustice and incoherence is the same in all languages of the world. 109.52.90.118 (talk) 15:45, 17 January 2014 (UTC)

I think the Destiny's Child awards/noms in this article should be removed. It should only include Beyoncé's awards/noms as a solo artist. For example, List of awards and nominations received by Michael Jackson doesn't include Jackson 5 awards/noms, List of awards and nominations received by Justin Timberlake doesn't include 'N Sync awards/noms and the awards/noms for Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys are not included in each member's biography articles. 0z (talk) 22:09, 17 January 2014 (UTC)

I'm agree with OZ. It needs equity and coherence. If we includes destiny's awards and nominations in beyonces page we MUST include s the same in Rowland 's page too.109.52.112.178 (talk) 20:31, 18 January 2014 (UTC)

I disagree, Destiny's Child was apart of her career and they often took home individual trophies. Not to mention she is widely regarded as 17 time Grammy award winner when 3 of those are from Destiny's Child. If it applies to the Grammy's (the most prestigious music award) it can apply for all. If someone wants to update Williams and Rowland's pages they can, but it's unlikely people are willing to do that. It's not an equality issue --Lolcakes25 (talk) 00:40, 23 January 2014 (UTC)

What has happened in the nomination and win section? All the information is wrong. Beyonce as a solo artist has won around the 300 awards, and 535 awards with Destiny's Child. The board on the right of the page says Beyoncé won a total of 17 American Music Awards, which is, according to her nominations and wins further on the page innacurate. She has won 9 awards (Destiny's Child included).

MTV VMA's

I see That Beyoncé is credited with 15 VMA's on this page. the first two:

2000- Say My Name- Best R&B Video 2001- survivor- Best R&B Video

Are actually awarded to Destiny's Child. Therefore I don't believe it should be included in this article & If you do some quick research you will find other pages/sites have listed Beyoncé as having 13 awards. This subject of DC awards on Beyoncé's page has been brought up a number of times.

Beyoncé as a solo artist (which this awards page is for) has won 13 MTV VMA's. Her first being in 2003 with "Crazy In Love". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.202.196.50 (talk) 21:47, 8 August 2014 (UTC)

Concerns for this article

Hi. I have just blocked a user for adding content without sources; because of this, I do not feel like I should engage on content with him. However, noting that higher on the page he had been warned about adding sources that don't actually support the content he's placing, I took a glance at a few of the sources used in List of awards and nominations received by Beyoncé and while the sources I looked at do support the content, I'm really unsure about the content. For instance, it is sourced that Beyonce is "Bing's Most-Searched Celebrity", but is this really an award or nomination? It wasn't really a competition, was it? Similarly, Guinness Book of World's Records evidently names her and her husband as a power couple; is that an award? The article is littered with such information. While this may be standard for such articles, I'm unsure due to my lack of involvement in the area, and, again, since I blocked the editor I do not feel I can become involved. I wanted to make a note in case there is an issue with bloat and somebody wanted to take a look. I have left notes as well at three relevant WikiProjects to invite review, if it seemed necessary. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 10:35, 21 October 2014 (UTC)

No, Moonriddengirl, it's not the standard. While people don't like to think of it, WP:BLP applies to these articles, and winning an award is certainly contentious (if you doubt that, think of it for a moment from the perspective of the person that actually won the award being falsely accredited to someone else). I'll keep a tighter eye on this one, but I get spread pretty thin.—Kww(talk) 14:20, 21 October 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, User:Kww. My concern is not so much with sourcing in this article, as so far as I can see all the things in this particular article are reliably sourced, but only with whether the inclusion of such information is appropriate. In any event, I'll leave it to editors of such articles to act on or not. I'm still waiting to hear from the guy why in another article he edited the sentence "Throughout a career spanning 17 years, she has won 17 Grammy Awards and sold over 75 million records as a solo artist" to read "Throughout a career spanning 17 years, she has won 17 Grammy Awards and sold over 118 million records as a solo artist", citing it to https://music.yahoo.com/blogs/music-news/chart-watch-oh-lorde-she-hot-211631968.html, which so far as I can see says this and only this about record sales as a solo artist: "Beyonce this week tops the 15 million mark in album sales as a solo artist." :/ --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:39, 22 October 2014 (UTC)

She is the most nominated and third most honored woman in Grammy history; with a total of 17 awards and with 53 total nominations. Overall, she has won 234 awards from 614 nominations since 1998." Awards won 502 Nominations 598

The number of awards nominated for and won has no verifiable source. As far back as two years ago, this same article had her nominated for 300 awards and having won 250 of them. Tbdhb (talk) 19:53, 24 May 2015 (UTC)

Comment on this page

This whole page is a mess. She has including DC over 500+ awards, definitely not less than 200. Someone fix this page, cause it's really inaccurate — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.210.192.8 (talk) 11:39, 13 June 2015 (UTC)

Destiny's Child Awards

Beyoncé has won over 500 awards, including awards won with Destiny's Child. Not recognizing this on her list of awards and nominations page makes the entire page inaccurate. Each member typically took home separate trophies for every award they won. The Wikipedia page listing awards and nominations by Destiny's Child no longer exists, therefore all 200+ awards are not being counted for whatsoever. Awards won with Destiny's Child are completely acceptable on Beyoncé's awards page - stop removing them. No one is taking away from the fact Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams also received the same awards. Each award won by Destiny's Child mentioned on this page can easily be added to both Rowland and Williams' awards and nominations page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gaknowitall (talkcontribs) 19:10, 25 January 2016‎ (UTC)

Trophies don't matter, those awards are for DC. Adding her awards + the group's would be innacurate. Cornerstonepicker (talk) 07:32, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
Those are awards that she has physically received during her career. How can you sit there and say that we can't list the award as received on this page when it's physically sitting on her shelf at home? That's nonsensical. Also, there are numerous awards already listed on this page for Destiny's Child songs and the band themselves. Why are those acceptable and others not? I spent a long time editing this page so it was neat, referenced and ACCURATE. You just undid it because you disagreed. WILDLY unfair. Angelic-alyssa (talk) 10:22, 18 July 2016 (UTC)

Is it possible to have a new main image for this page? The previous one is now 7 years old. I'm not overly sure or confident enough to replace the image myself, but I was thinking an image from Beyoncé's recent sweep at the 2016 VMA awards? Listing awards by year rather than by ceremony

Beyoncé has won a variety of awards and it is sometimes difficult to place them in the correct area of the current page, therefore I will be listing the awards by year they were won/nominated, similar to Whitney Houston's awards page.

Those awards were the non-televised awards and she is still up for three televised awards tonight. How many awards exactly? 473?

According to Fuse, by 2014, Beyonce had become the second most awarded artist of all time, only after Michael Jackson, but the television special did not give the exact number. Here is the link to that countdown. According to the fansite, Beyonce Collection, Bey has won 473 awards as of 2017 but I am not exactly sure how accurate they are considering some of the awards might have been awarded to other people because they worked on a project of Beyonce's and the award may not have been awarded to Beyonce herself.

Listography

Beyoncé listography was deleted per consensus as WP:LISTCRUFT but that info has now been added to the bottom of this already long list as “other accolades”. The list of “other accolades” has now been returned twice after I’ve removed it due to the unanimous consensus found regarding the information at AfD (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Beyoncé listography). There’s no reason to have that same info simply merged to this page as it falls well beyond the scope of “awards and nominations”. Would anyone else like to weigh in on its inclusion? Necessary Edits

I went through the page to find the changes needed, instead of just deleting masses of information as Cornerstone has for some reason.

I don't think the Antville and Apple awards should count, as Apple's was an editorial list, not an award, and Antville is essentially just a blog (I may be wrong)

Capital FM Awards need to be better referenced otherwise it will be removed. I Beyoncé fan website may be accurate, but it's not a reliable reference.

TMF Awards needs a reference, as it currently does not and will be removed otherwise.

Groovevolt Music & Fashion Awards comes under the Music Awards section - should it be moved to the Fashion and Magazine section?

Are the Capricho Awards the Capricho Awards de Gato Nacional? If so it has a wikipedia page, and linking this may prevent Cornerstone and other vandals from removing it

GLAAD Media Awards should be moved to Philanthropy IMO

Japan Gold Disc Awards should be moved to Music

Latina Magazine - not an award — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dagicle (talkcontribs) 12:30, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

Proposed restoration

Editors led by @Cornerstonepicker: started an edit war and removed large chunks of encycolpedic content. It would have been much wiser to go through each specific deletion and explain why it warrants a deletion and allow for discussion rather than delete half the article without proper justification and expect editors to just accept it.

It is very evident that Cornerstonepicker has bias against this article and removes content from the article because they don't like Beyoncé (WP isn't for fan fights), but then adds the same content to the articles for artists that he does like. For example, Cornerstonepicker removed the YouTube Play Button from this article, but then added it to Maluma's awards page (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=prev&oldid=884795863). Cornerstonepicker also removed content with the reason of "If the award doesn't have a WP article, it isn't notable" but then adds such awards to other pages (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=prev&oldid=884797311).

@JzG: @EdJohnston: I also don't understand why Beyhiveboys was blocked indefinitely but Cornerstonepicker wasn't despite their edit warring and bias. Furthemore, it should be understandable why Beyhiveboys does "seem to be filled with extreme enthusiasm", as you said EdJohnston, because he obviously spent a lot of time working on this article, and instead of someone approaching him to question certain sources, Cornerstonepicker - a user who clearly wanted to tear down what Beyhiveboys was working on - deleted large portions of it, and now Beyhiveboys is blocked. Please reconsider this.

It would be much better to restore the article to before the edit war started, and new edits from there be completed after reaching consensus. Bgkc4444 (talk) 15:22, 29 March 2020 (UTC)Bgkc4444

Cruft, I'm afraid.
Whoever added the cruft originally, should be blocked;
Whoever removed the cruft subsequently, should be barnstarred;
Whoever protected the page, did so in the interests of the encylopedia;
And, finally, whoever unprotects it, does so in the knowledge that if an editor restores the aforementioned cruft without a clear and absolute consensus on this page will be indefintely blocked so quickly their keyboard won't have cooled off.
Cheers, ——SN54129 16:19, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
Review some of the prior discussion in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Beyoncé listography. The AfD closed with Delete. One of the arguments in favor of deletion was "per WP:LISTCRUFT. A huge indiscriminate collection of trivial media mentions". EdJohnston (talk) 16:28, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
@Serial Number 54129:@EdJohnston: I agree with the deletion of the "Beyoncé listography" article for the reasons stated in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Beyoncé listography. This article concerns awards, which are not "trivial media mentions". This article is also not listcruft, as it provides encyclopedic value in that it allows for recognition of the artist's work and for comparison with artists from Michael Jackson and Kendrick Lamar to Justin Timberlake and BTS, whose awards articles have similar lists without the same constraints that these editors have made for this article. I understand the need to set a standard for what is considered "a huge indiscriminate collection" as that is a subjective phrase, but the fact that A) the editor who deleted content from the article added the same content to other articles shows that this editor completed their edits merely in order to ruin this article rather than for the sake of adhering to the Wikipedia guidelines, and B) as stated above, articles of other artists' awards have the same award types and more in them without those awards having their own Wikipedia pages but those aren't questioned, means that it is unfair to just delete a large proportion of this article, some parts rightly and some parts wrongly, and then prevent others from changing it. Bgkc4444 (talk) 19:19, 29 March 2020 (UTC)Bgkc4444
We should include only those awards which are:
  1. Notable awards (i.e. there is an article for the award);
  2. Covered in reliable secondary sources, not just the awarding body's own website.
That's Wikipedia lists 101. Guy (help!) 22:34, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
Just to add that that edit from February 2019 that I didn't even remember, I didn't "add the award" to Maluma's page, I removed it and put it in the "Others" section. So, that affirmation is incorrect. It should be removed entirely, yes. I'm all for removing non-notable awards—and lists/recognitions that aren't awards but are painted as such in the articles—of all the pages listed; that takes time. Cornerstonepicker (talk) 01:22, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
I sent a reply before showing that those awards deleted have publications articles such as from Essence and Variety. I also noticed that the awards from Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, Janet, Whitney and other 90s-00s Icon are not deleted even if they sight their fan site awards (look at Britney Spears references), while my edit are deleted which have reliable sources and not from "blog sites Beyhiveboys (talk) 11:22, 30 March 2020 (UTC)

How Wikipedia lists work

Recall that Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information.

By convention, we do not, as a matter of course, include list items that are not demonstrably notable (i.e. that have articles). So the starting point for inclusion should be:

There is an article on the specific award (e.g. Academy Award for Best Actor)

Note: not the publication or group that hands out the award, but the actual award. The Daily Planet may be a notable publication, but the Daily Planet award for best superhero is not a notable award. Most industry awards exist as an excuse for a night out on expenses and have zero impact outside of the industry.

Listicles, likewise, are a reliable seasonal space-filler for the end of year issue when everyone is on leave, but they mean precisely nothing. A tiny handful (the Forbes 400, for example) are genuinely notable. Most - the vast majority - are not. Again, The Daily Planet is notable, but the annual Daily Planet top 100 superheroes is not. So the test for inclusion of a listicle should be:

There is an article on the specific list (e.g. Forbes 400)

Finally, and absolutely most fundamental, all content on Wikipedia must be drawn form reliable independent sources. For inclusion in any list, an item must be supported by a reliable source that is intellectually independent. The Daily Planet is notable, but an accolade bestowed by the Daily Planet and supported only by the story ion the Daily Planet, is not. Note also that churnalism is a thing. Coverage must be more than a mere press release. So for inclusion in a Wikipedia list,

The award or accolade must have been reported in a reliable source independent of those making the award (an obvious press release repeated in another publication is insufficient)

That is how Wikipedia works. Reliable independent sources to establish both the fact and the significance of the award. We are not here to do PR for the subjects we write about, however massive a fan we might be.

One last thing. The "VH1 award for best celebrity bikini body" and its ilk are not for Wikipedia. Objectifying women may be de rigeur in the tabloid and supermarket space, but Wikipedia is very much not that. Guy (help!) 18:17, 29 April 2020 (UTC)

@JzG: Hi Guy! Thanks for taking the time to write this out and clarify your position. However I have to question one aspect, specifically that an award that is given by an organisation with a Wikipedia article and is covered by reliable secondary sources should not be included. You suggest that this is according to Wikipedia guidelines. Can you please link to where it says this? I don't think this rule is logical or applicable. You saying "Most industry awards exist as an excuse for a night out on expenses and have zero impact outside of the industry" certainly doesn't warrant your proposed rule. Bgkc4444 (talk) 18:01, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Bgkc4444
Bgkc4444, it's all about undue weight. If the award itself is not notable, then we shouldn't be including it in lists. There are so many of these awards that we have to set a bar of objective significance. Feel free to describe one you think should be included. Guy (help!) 18:44, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
@JzG: Many apologies for the late reply. Would a bar of objective significance not be that it is reported in a third-party reliable source? For example, the ASCAP Awards are significant awards in the music industry and are covered by reliable sources, yet they do not have Wikipedia articles. It does not make sense to say that these awards are not notable. Additionally, your rules outlined above seem to be focusing on listicles and publications, which are different from actual awards and ceremonies, which are generally much more notable. Bgkc4444 (talk) 12:38, 16 July 2020 (UTC)Bgkc4444
Bgkc4444, if you can show substantial independent coverage and show that this is routine for other recipients, then sure. But otherwise it belongs on Fandom not Wikipedia. Guy (help!) 12:47, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
@JzG: "Substantial" coverage is the type of subjective and vague terms that this discussion is trying to move away from. Just from Googling for the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Songwriter of the Year award given out yesterday, you can see that it is covered in reliable sources 12. Neither the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Awards nor the Songwriter of the Year award has a Wikipedia article. You keep adding irrelevant criteria for inclusion that you're making up on the spot. If an award is given out by a notable organisation and is covered by a third-party reliable source, it is notable. Bgkc4444 (talk) 12:59, 16 July 2020 (UTC)Bgkc4444

Block

Good day. I need help. I am blocked from editing the awards page of Beyonce since the edit warring I had with a user occur. He is block temporarily and I saw that he is already accessing the page again, he deleted 3 awards for instance (he deleted almost 100+ awards prior, causing edit warring with me). I just want to ask for help since why he already got the access while I am blocked for editing. I would love to have access to the page which I took care of since 2018. I hope someone could help me. Beyhiveboys (Beyhiveboys) 18:17, 14 May 2020 (UTC)

@Beyhiveboys: I don't know I couldn't help it, he did the same thing to me at the Britney spears Awards, always reverted the real awards, I guess he's Britney and Beyonce haters but I'm interested in cleaning up the Beyoncé page and archiving all the resources as well and re-added the awards that were removed by him and looking up for the better references. Saiff Naqiuddin (talk) 01:51, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
Saiff Naqiuddin, you are talking about an administrator, someone who has extensive knowledge of our policies. You can add all those "awards" on Fandom. This is an encyclopaedia, not a fansite. Guy (help!) 22:56, 24 May 2020 (UTC)

Ruining the page

The awards page is being ruined by various people and is deleting many awards from Beyonce´s credit. I hope someone will look after the page EdJohnston, since you blocked me from protecting and editing the page. This is a serious matter because the awards are cut from 560+ to 200+, without any reliable reason. This is really disappointing. Beyhiveboys (Beyhiveboys) 19:54, 22 May 2020

  • No, it is being turned into a Wikipedia article, containing only notable material supported by reliable independent sources. We do not include awards that exist primarily to promote the awarding company. We do not include awards that are not covered by any sources other than the awarding company, or press releases. We do not include industry "awards" that are just an excuse for a night out on expenses. We do not include awards that the awardee would never be likely to turn up to collect. In short, Wikipedia is not a fansite, despite your wish to make it one. Guy (help!) 22:54, 24 May 2020 (UTC)

Wikipedia itself states this as the definition of an award: ‘An award, sometimes called a distinction, is something given to a recipient as a token of recognition of excellence in a certain field’. So all the awards that Beyoncé got that fit that description deserve to be on this list. I find it very weird that you think you are allowed to change the definition of an award to what you think is worthy of it. An award that is given ‘primarily to promote the awarding company’ is still an award. I also do not see how you objectively would define an award like that, what are your sources? Incorrect number of awards

This article says that Beyoncé only has 418 awards, while several sources state she has 691. The page is protected from vandalism so not sure how 200+ awards have been deleted? Chin and chillaa (talk) 15:36, 4 October 2020 (UTC)

MTV asia award

Under mtv Asia awards is stated that she received two nominations, however only her 2004 nomination is later mentioned. She was nominated in 2008 too for best hookup for her song beautiful liar with Shakira. I got this information from the mtv Asia 2008 Wikipedia page so whoever can change this page, add that nomination too. Chin and chillaa (talk) 16:01, 4 October 2020 (UTC)

Please Keep the Awards Page Up-to-Date

Hi, To whomever maintains this wiki page, thank you! I've enjoyed coming to visit it to see the list of Beyonce's awards and nominations. In the last few months, I've noticed that the page is not being kept organized and up-to-date. Please: (a) Re-organize the awards tables so that you can find the Grammys directly without having to scroll. It looks like someone started but did not finish re-arranging the tables. (b) When a win is announced (or not), can you please switch the decision accordingly? Some award shows have long passed and are still showing Pending for some awards. Many thanks from an avid user! 24.85.229.42 (talk) 19:54, 24 November 2020 (UTC)

It seems several award categories were removed or merged into one list including Grammys. Can we restore the individual sections please?--Nk3play2 my buzz 20:08, 25 November 2020 (UTC)

VMA Wins - STOP removing Professional Categories

Someone removed all of Beyoncé's professional category wins and nominations for the VMAs. I'm not sure when this happened, but it's wrong. Not only are her wins in the professional categories included by major publications, such as Billboard[1], MTV themselves included her professional category wins (up to that point) in a list they made in 2016 of the most awarded artists.[2] They also listed all (except one, as she didn't show up to receive it) of Beyoncé's wins in 2015, including all professional category wins.[3] Furthermore, in the link above, a picture is included of Beyoncé at the 2014 VMAs with her four wins from that night, INCLUDING her win for Best Cinematography. Please do more research before making huge changes, especially to the most important sections.
