I spent some time checking the list of "Norway" shorebirds against the range maps in the individual species articles. I want to alert the editors that many of the birds listed in this article are Mediterranean, American, or Asian, and never go near Skandinavia. Please provide some specific examples of species you believe don't belong. Many species native to North America, the Mediterranean area, and elsewhere have appeared as strays far from their core ranges. Craigthebirder (talk) 19:13, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't realize that (A) meant "doesn't really live here." I'm not a birder, so I have no great interest in accidental sightings. Putting Flamingos in Norway really strained my confidence in the list. No action required. I'll adjust. Hanshiclayton (talk) 19:26, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
