Should we semi-protect the article?[edit]

Looking at the history of this article's edits there seems to be a number of edits by various anonymous IP addresses that have sought to vandalise the page by adding different football clubs that have performed terribly. These edits are fairly common, and I would argue consist of the vast majority of the edits done to this page in the past few years, and as a result we always have to revert such vandalism. Perhaps, if we were to protect the article and restrict it to confirmed accounts only, maybe these acts of vandalism will stop. 130.126.255.11 (talk) 02:52, 15 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Aha, so this [1] wasn't exactly original. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 12:40, 8 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Only if the disruption continues. The last disruption was more than three days ago. Softlavender (talk) 17:50, 10 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Well, since the OP was in 2017 one could argue that it is ongoing ;-) Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 08:34, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
