ITIS vs. Reptile Database[edit]

Isn't it time that we stopped following ITIS, which is routinely 10+ years out of date, and followed the Reptile Database, which is updated several times a year?

It seems to me that the whole point of a resource like Wikipedia is that it can rapidly be updated - we are throwing that away if we shackle ourselves to outdated sources. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Caissaca (talk • contribs) 31 March 2021 (UTC)
