Defining Standards[edit]

I think this list needs a lot of rework.

Firstable of course this list needs to be updated to the current Bundesliga season, but since this list shall include only players who have actually played in a regular Bundesliga game, I'm suggesting to postpone this update after the current season has finished.

Secondable I think there has to be defined a standard for the years stated after the clubs. At the moment it seems, that some people put there time periods that shall further define the time at a club. So a new time period for every new club. But I think thats the wrong approach. Actually this years are supposed to just state the actual years a player has played in the bundesliga. So I only would seperate time periods when there is a full calender year without any appearance in a Bundesliga match.

Example:
Player Müller played 2003/04 five games, all from March to May 2004. So I would start the year entry with "2004".
And additionally when the player stays at the club with no appearances in 2004/05 and then has his next appearances in 2005/06 and is expected to have further appearances in 06/07, I would make this following entry "2004, 2005-"
What do you think about that?

And thirdly I have seen a lot wrong entries of players and clubs that don't/didn't belong to the respective Bundesliga season (players and clubs of the Second Bundesliga mostly). Because of the much higher standing and sporting quality, I think we should maintain this seperation. Maybe an additional Second Bundesliga list is useful. Thus I'm suggesting to delete all Second Bundesliga entries. DrunkenGerman (talk) 23:29, 17 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have updated the definitions and criteria today. DrunkenGerman (talk) 10:46, 5 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
