I am trying to create a page for each province (there are 34 of them) of Afghanistan with a list of all the governors. In most cases it is very hard to find all the information on every governor (when he/she was appointed, replaced, photo, biography etc). However, as we move on and find more information, we can add them to each article - it will take some time. And about sources, usually the source are given in their article pages. Confusing dates and political divisions

I apologize in advance to anyone confused by the dates of appointment for governors and the different governors of the Province of Qataghan and Badakhshan, Badakhshan Province and Badakhshan district. The sources are not precise and often they only mention that someone served as governor at a particular time without included dates of appointment or replacement. Also, I am bunching the provincial and district governors here on one page because I'm still confused about who was appointed to governor what because the sources are unclear or contradictory. In the future there should probably be a separate page for Governors of Qataghan and Badakhshan David Straub (talk) 14:22, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
