Joseph Prichard[edit]

13. März 1829 gründeten die Engländer John Andrews und Joseph Prichard die „Erste k. k. privilegierte Donau-Dampfschiffahrts-Gesellschaft“, kurz DDSG. (German)

On 13 March 1829 Englishmen John Andrews and Joseph Prichard founded the DDSG, the first steam-shipping-company in Austria/Hungary.
