I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of List of international goals scored by Pelé's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 15:57, 19 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

POSITION OF PELE[edit]

Pelé played as "ponta de lança" (Brazilian Portuguese), which is a forward playing in periphery (peripheral forward). He was the third forward of Santos (real forwards were Pepe and Coutinho) and in Brazil of 1958 was the fourth of the attacking players. After 1966-67, he mostly played as an attacking midfielder (both in club and in the National team). In 1970 World Cup (Brazil of "5 number 10s") was the third forward (usually Tostão and Jairzinho were more forwarded). Γεώργιος Τερζής 2 (talk) 23:58, 11 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
