List of invasive alien species of Union concern[edit]

It has been suggested that the article List of invasive alien species of Union concern be merged into List of invasive species in Europe.

This list is an official list resulting from an EU regulation, so it is not to confuse nor merge with a general list of alien species occuring in Europe.

Thank you for not merging the list as it will serve as a base for invasion biologists from all over Europe to publish wikipedia articles in the 23 official languages plus some further languages (e.g. Luxembourgian, Turkish ...) on each of the 66 IAS of Union concern. Missing items will be updated in Wikidata as well. This is a process launched on a European meeting at Krakow on 27-29 January 2020 in the frame of COST action Alien CSI dealing with Invasive Alien Species and Citizen Science.

I removed the merging suggestion (as User User:Þjarkur agreed upon in his merging suggestion)
