TWRA[edit]

Somebody is trying to perpetuate the notion that the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is a law enforcement entity. Yes, they have the authority to enforce hunting and fishing regulations (including rules about drunken operation of a boat), but they are not primarily in the law enforcement business. I am deleting them from the list.--orlady 14:31, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Other agencies.[edit]

TVA Police, and the various Federal agencies for the Oak Ridge complexes. Not state agencies, but from what I understand they do have federal authroity and are 'in' tennessee. And maybe a list of offices for federal agencies in the state, like FBI. 69.241.93.245 (talk) 01:28, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There are also railroad police agencies with federal authority that operate inside Tennessee like CSX Railraod Police. However I'm more interested in why there is no mention of the Davidson County Sheriff and Constables offices. --IRMacGuyver (talk) 03:40, 11 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
