Amateur?[edit]

Is entry Ahmet Enünlü a non-professional (article begins by professional being the requirement). I see his extensive amateur achievements.--Billymac00 (talk) 17:54, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

More entries to check[edit]

need to verify that Robert Burneikai has his pro card, only an amateur? also to check Gregg Valentino, Jake McLennen --Billymac00 (talk) 00:24, 9 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Are you referring to Robert Burneika [1]? He became pro on October 16, 2010, when he won the superheavyweight class and overall title at the NPC [2] National Bodybuilding Championships. The NPC is the U.S. amateur division of the IFBB. Class winners at the NPC Bodybuilding Championships achieve pro status. Lou Messina (talk) 03:59, 12 February 2011 (UTC)LouMessina[reply]

Table Cleanup[edit]

Looks like whoever updated the table last somehow screwed everything up. Someone who knows the wiki language ought to straighten it out, lest we revert the whole page back a few times. --75.72.148.96 (talk) 00:18, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Questionable entries[edit]

The only hits I see for Jose Luis Portet,Diego Julio is Wikipedia essentially, and none for Samet Turan...I'll remove without further substantiation...--Billymac00 (talk) 04:17, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Periodic review[edit]

okay, from stats it appears Hassan Jama does not have his pro card and I will strike his entry...via Google searches, other suspect ones are Jasper Gill. Fix Gallanti spelling as well. Likely missing entries include Don Long, Frank Sepe,John Hansen,Johnny Moya, Skip La Cour and Tony Pearson via ref IFFB Pro profiles--Billymac00 (talk) 19:28, 10 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[3] was last known to me as being run by a webmaster who solicited bodybuilders to include in The Big Universe. He mostly approached amateur bodybuilders. I have no knowledge of his being active for several years. I consider his information to be highly suspect. Frank Sepe never achieved pro status. He competed in two local amateur NPC events. He also competed in the IFBB North American Bodybuilding Championships (amateur international pro-qualifying event), but failed to place. Subsequently, he limited himself to modeling in the bodybuilding industry. Lou Messina (talk) 04:16, 12 February 2011 (UTC)LouMessina[reply]

Don Long[edit]

The link for Don Long, professional bodybuilder, takes me to a page about a baseball player. I don't think that's the same person?? Qewr4231 (talk) 18:51, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Rich Piana[edit]

There is a link in the Also See section of Rich Piana's page to here but he does not feature on the list?

Can anybody verify if he can be added, his page is currently an orphan.

Is it a mistake you've made?[edit]

Jeff Seid is not included on the list, i think you should add him. He is a "Bodybuilder". Lastly, Dwayne Johnson(The Rock) is no bodybuilder but is included. On his article, theres nowhere i see it mentioned. Because he planned to start a bodybuilding business, and is/was a wrestler, should he be added? We love him, but please remove him. 41.114.63.175 (talk) 13:18, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi IP from Johannesburg - We do not have an article about Jeff Seid, so he is not eligible for inclusion in this list, until someone writes an article on him, which is accepted.
I have, however, removed Dwayne Johnson for the reasons you have given. Best wishes - Arjayay (talk) 15:06, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Cheers! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.114.63.175 (talk) 15:22, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
